  5. yea that happend to mine, so i turned that bit off, as soon as a crack appears its just going to contiue on to the bearing surface. turned it to the shoulder where the raised surface starts, made a replacement end from some tool steel and pressed it on, i could have hardend it but it dosnt need to be hard, only thing is its gone rusty on the surface but that dosnt matter
  6. iv just rode in the first time in a year, and i have to say i really have the trials buzz again, its mint rode more times in the last 2 weeks than the last 2 years its hard to get some stuff back but its really nice when you get an aspect back
  7. im not welsh dave.... and we are two different people. the point is the axle could be made by a few people on here, but whats the point when its more viable to just buy a hd one for a start there are bearing surefaces which are hard and have a fine Roughness Average. if there was a faul with the HD axle then it might be worth my while making one without the problems, but as theres no really problem its point less
  8. thats what i thought, was thinking they are selling different cheaper ones. im guessing they are a lower quality bar
  9. http://www.supercycles.co.uk/site_details.asp?ProductID=662 http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=214 are these the exect same bars?
  10. hum to be honest id just get a HD axle and save the bother, show me a pic of ur broken one and maybe i can help you out with some ideas on how to fix it for the time being
  11. depends if you have a rule or a vernier handy really, nothing to hard to turn on the axle, just the threads really.
  12. why not just turn urself a new one if you can turn one side? could always tap both sides and join witha threaded dowel, lock tight one side up
  13. its gotta be a koxx rim do you think loads of different company just decide to tool up and produce a rims, no.. they just put there name on one

    Problem

hey joe i used to get this before, it only happens when you dont get the right timming really,if you think when every one rode short bikes most people didnt do it unless they get the timming right so getting a longer stem wont really help as you use the same body movment.
