they totaly different shape, they are very stiff to, not sure about havin 4 bolt mounts and disc mount as i run disc i prefer either or but so far they are going well.
yea that was me, you had an ashton at the time, yea i just threw it together for the comp, felt horrid then, but its all sorted now fells good, done some decent riding ll try post up some pics
found it a lil cramped to begin with when i had pazza bars on but with the tryall its feels very nice now im getting used to it, a stem thats a lil bit longer may be nice
the Z2 is the shorter version
using it was street/comp/every thing bike really its pretty light but i havnt got round to weighing it yet
i would have to disagree about the ti spokes, not talking about monty ones as i have found them shit in the past, but iv ran wheels with ti spokes for ages and one of them was one of the strongest wheels iv ever had (single speed king with DT ti spokes alu nips and built on a mavic 519) REAR ran this on the rear for over a year and when it was debuilt it was as true as the day it was built this was back in 2003-2004
also had a front wheel with ti spokes which had no problems with
only problem that can happen with ti spokes is that they can seaze up in the nipples then they tend to snap when you try to remove them, but if they are preped right before being built then you dont have a problem
yea they are DOB rims i had them for a while just didnt get round to building them up, they seem ok to me, i dont expect a rim of that weight to take a battering but i think they will do my job
as for the forks and the stem they are ZHI not sure you can buy them yet as im still testing them and so far so good but not had them long enough yet to say
Had this for a few weeks now but not been able to ride much due to breaking my shoulder a couple of months ago.
happy with how it rides already but im still getting used to it.
just like to say thanks to Fred Savage at NSE for sorting me out with a sponsorship deal
anealing is only after a part has been already hardend, to make it less brittle basically, what you would have to do to machine a hardend part
normalising is basically to return to the original grainstructure ie-after welding or machining when large amounts of material has been removed
they actually nomalise not heat tread bike frames, which returns the grain structure back to normal rather that changing the mechanical properties of the material like they do when you aneal or harden and temper, but these later are generaly for carbon steels
im sure ever one is misunderstood here as i seams that the outer lip is rubbing the calliper, as in the rotor is a tinny bit to large, losen the rotor bolts then turn the rotor clockwise against the bolts then tighten them up should ensure that the rotor is runin concentrict
re-red this, just need to get the mounts faced(dont try with a file) take it down ur lbs will only cost a few quid
i found magura in the UK to be wankers, i snapped a lever blade on a marta sl just by pulling it and they told me i had crashed and it wasnt underwarranty, i never crashed it or even lend it agaisnt a wall. not even a mark on it, i cant see them actually going to the trouble of x-raying it
