  1. what would be the point in that?
  2. jack just runs the normal ones, is that the ones that are getting recalled?
  3. Best off avoid helicoils on stuff like brake mounts, better off with a TIMESERT, try eBay
  4. Best thing is that you can go along an walk the sections then decide, if your finding it to hard and no fun then they let you change to a easier one
  5. Bet you had alot of fun traveling the world riding Scott, some thing I don't think Luke will ever experience
  6. Rest is the only way to sort it long term, try moving bars and levers about, I used to get it when I was doing alot in the gym, mine was really bad is I rode to soon after
  7. yea watched it, yea nice lines but I didnt see any thing bigger than the blue/ or red route
  8. Yea I wasn't there, but the elite routes are pretty much the same old lines... Unless you come up with some original elite routes of your own? Then again I havnt seen you at a comp in years so I can't imagine you know what level the elite route would be!
  9. You say he done the elite routes easy, only problem with that is there not really elite routes, more like red!!
  10. Ye they are good on front if you are gapping to front like flicking an on off switch, but they do wear off fast if you don't lock the wheel up
  11. I did have my suspicions, can't you just ride brake less in the rain ??
  12. Well may as well go with ur bike, get there early so u can have a look at the sections. If you Think you can manage have a go. If they look to hard just watch and get some practice in after!
  13. The screws just limit the mech so the chain doesn't go to far and off each end of the cog and into the spokes at the top, then just start by moving the cable with the barrel adjuster
  14. Me either Steve about the only good point is that you could flip it over when the first side got totally f**ked!!
  15. I remember years ago a mate used a hacksaw to do some small groves in his rim maybe 1mm deep 5mm apart kind of worked.. Maybe it's possible to do but not really worth while in the long run, just grind your rim doesn't take long
  16. Yes just make sure the limits screws are adjusted on the mech, it will work but you will have some left over clicks on shifter, not real problem
  17. Matt you young to, at heart
  18. That's awsome he still rides, last time I spoke to him he was into Honda civics
  19. He basically sands them at an angle to match the angle of most rims!! As for the real pads iv got a couple of pairs personally from him, yes they have loads of bite and loud but they don't hold great... Worked well with dead grinds and dob rims for me.. Poor in wet
  20. Yep, actually just off street riding at 5 mainly because any good natural spots are bit far away, never know I may try some manuals later
