  1. What frame do you ride or whats the geo as that will help to work out what stem you need
  2. It was a schwalbe tyre, can't remember the actually name, but when you compare it to a rear try all lite it's terrible, What surface do you ride on? This was natural location, porthcawl rocks
  3. Who you calling kid ? I hope ur not referring to me ?
  4. The 24 rockman tractor that I have Rode is one of the best bikes even on the rear wheel, just like a 20 inch but you can pedal up like a 26, If they started making some decent tyred for the 24 inch wheels I would ride one, as I was having nightmares after seeing what is possible on one while riding with savage, and that was with tyres with no grip or stability... Just plain silly
  5. They are basically the same as try all with a bit more offset and some extra threads, just the machining in the inside that's different making they a few grams lighter, I have try all and rockman and they are just as stiff as each other but the rockmans a bit lighter so they are my choice, They are a really good investment as they are so stiff compare with all the other cranks out there
  6. So any one know where I can get an oven to fit my frame in?
  7. How many have you had back that snapped Adam ? I bought one to try the geo out and rode it for 5/6 months and surprisingly I couldn't snap it! Really liked it to I alway find it strange why people don't like stuff just because it doesnt look amazing??? How many have you had back that snapped Adam ? 8. Probably because you used grease! It's good stuff you know
  9. what are you on about? yes get it welded, if you take it to some one decent with a tig it will be ok. and as you said you dont do hooks then there is very little amounts of stress in that area. so it will last around 4-6 months but if you do start doing hooks it will be off in weeks.
  10. i want to get as good as i can, maybe ge some good results at the top i also want to make trials more popular with younger kids so it can become bigger and better
  11. what you mean is why to tartybikes charge so much extra ? i think its worth the extra when compared to echo though, the poor quality bearings and poor machining and fit sucks.
  12. well done to all, but ben 3rd in elite is awsome also well done to owen as it was first every world.
  13. just looked at the results and jack 1st and ryan crisp 2nd. well done ryan and jack!!!

    Shoes

Urm no he didn't Dani Comas did!
  16. monty rims tent to be pretty soft so you need a softish pad, the new rockman pads seem to work well also the coust pads should work good on a rim like that.. im going from when i was using dov rims which were pretty soft, alot of pads just seemed to be to hard and worn the grind of.. but the rockman and coust pads worked well.. but be warned they tent to be quite grabby

    Tyres ?

i think i saw you at lee mill on sunday, thoses rocks are pretty slippy with any tyre but i noticed you had a nice conti on front.. maybe the rocks made you think that you needed new tyres ?? the best all round tyres out there are the try-alls thats what i had on if you seen my bike. they are really light, give really good amount of spring and are pretty punture resistant. the front is a bit thinner..(about the same as your front conti) so people who tent to pinch alot might consider getting the last years front as they are a bit thicker hope that helps
  18. Nice one mate, ll give it a try to see while I look for a better one!
  19. Looking for a stem of that geo, but only ones I see have a 2 bolt split clamp, basically looking for a 4 bolt front clamp style if possible
  20. forget about helicoils they are only a last resort, much better off with a thread incert. you can get m6 ones which are 7.8 dia, i use them im work now and again and they are 1oo times better than a helicoil.. here is tthe idea, but these are m10 10mm dia so only good if you have enought material around the thread My link
  21. Basically any welding will be to much heat and heat treating would be needed, it will last a couple months prob, just will never be as strong! TIG is ur best bet
  22. The main reason they make carbon wheels is to make them more areo for same weight, the zipp use a torodianl shape that also acts like a spring thus giving a good ride and better rolling. They make either full carbon for tubular tyres and carbon with Alu side Walls for normal Clincher tyres! Basically the braking you get on a carbon surface is pretty grabby and shit in wet! That's why they make ones with Alu side Walls! You could made a carbon rim with an Alu surface to use for trials but I'm not sure I can think of any real advantages
