  1. Do you have the same gear ratio?
  2. 24 is in the middle so best of both worlds, hopefully there will be some more come from other companies soon
  3. He now has the newer sky 2 but I would guess that he was on the sky 1 when he snapped the forks, same frame as vince was on when he snapped his forks at val d seare What's the stack head of the sky 1 mark ? Around 117mm with the headset at a guess ?
  4. Remove the bread, also separate the carbs and protien as meals, try an cut the carbs down to breakfast about 40/50 grams. The only time I would h e carbs and protien in te same meal would after gym, also try to make sure fat is less that 15g per meal
  5. 26 are slowly turning into a 20 with 26 wheels, trying to get all the best points into one!

    Dave Kerr Stock

Thanks for all the coments, will try and make a video soon, hope to make a much better one soon
  7. And what bike did u have not so long ago ?
  8. Really and you know this because your an engineer or you know how to use a search engine? I think your getting your si units and prefix's mixed up Either way your stil 200mu out Here we are just a quick search and I found: In some texts, the symbol µ is an abbreviation of micrometer(s) or micron(s). These two terms both refer to a unit of displacement equal to 0.000001 meter or 0.001 millimeter.
  9. Ah right I wasn't 100% sure myself but I know White spirit is no good.

    V Brake Lugs

Yes they are American so the thread will be imperial, the ones on eBay are probly all metric, may be worth a search on eBay.com so you can search USA if you havnt done so already
  11. methylated spirits? Or you thinking of White spirits? Iv always used it as it's non oil based unlike most of the disc brake cleaners that most bike shops have! Will have to try some of that next time I need to clean to see how it compares
  12. +2 only thing I'd say is that some times the pads may hit square bu the pad itself may not be totally flat, or the side wall may have a slight radius to it, I reckon it don't take that much to have a worse brake
  13. Just check there isn't any oil on the rotor from bleeding by using some meths, Remove that with a clean cloth, put some water on and do as he says, just dragging tends to glaze the pads
  14. 3 inches is just over 76mm, so not really the same height ! This shows my point that feet to bars position is the most important thing here!
  15. Sorry to hack the thread but up to what .45/.7 will distort the image ?
  16. I can't see how you can have 2 bikes 1 with +30 bb and the other with +80bb and have the same height bars?
  17. Yes I should have worded that differently, I wad talking in general, not in training. Training is where you push the limits of ability. I'm not saying Danny mac is boring but yea I think it's hard for him to be original. He's got some good imagination to do the lines he does
  18. Maybe it's because he was trying to sell me some, looks like that incert is the answer! Any pics where you can see the frame he's uses ben ?
  19. Makes a good read apart from the pointless bits in the middle, as for who's best- I know Danny does amazing stuff but I personally think that loads of his stuff take loads of goes, so in my book that don't make him as good as some one like kenny who has amazing bike control and makes ever thing first time. Maybe he's not as good at big gaps taps etc as Gilles, vince etc but in my eyes the rider with the most ALL ROUND bag of skills, just look at him on his Mtb! Cuts out any arguments about what type of risings best Also Gilles didn't make the kickers, that was then! He's put alot of effort into them and now is as insane! Did any one see the world cup of Antwerp ? As for bike for Mathew I think his bike now is good for street and good for trials, was one of the top frames a few years back and some amazing stuff has be done on them! But after spending a day riding savages karbra 24 brake less for a day, I was doing 360s bunny hops and try loads of fun tricks! Basically out of boredom but it was really good fun, then I was doing some pretty decent more tgs moves and was just as awsome So I think it's a no brainer
  20. ha yes beat me to it, i can make you a cup which is higher to accept the echo bearing if you need i was chatting to Iciar van den bergh about the forks awhile ago, hes been running them with the sky frame which has the higher headtube and hasnt snapped a pair and i think he was one of the first people to start using them after vince. hes a real best at hooking, in the other hand a small incert isnt gonna weight much so up to you
  21. did you read the spec? the headset has the same stack height as the normal alu one. you could probly get away with putting sort kind of spacer over the bit that is pressed in as that part is so long
