They don't have to give a warranty though because they are not selling in the uk? I always thought that the warranty was with the vendor not the manufacture ? That's why they are making the money but taking the risk. Maybe I'm total wrong though. Could you explain it ?
Better than the good old "we will have to send it back to the manufacture"
I know of a few people who have got full bikes and had no problems or any extra tax. Best bit is you don't pay until you get the goods and are happy with condition etc
Have magura changed the fluid they use in the last couple of years or just the bottle

The ones on tartybikes have a different tub, is it newer thinner ?
You could try lacing the crossing spokes the other way to see if it moves in a different direction, people build them using 2 groups just because it's easy to drop them in from the same side.
The thing your missing is that every thing with flex
basically this, your not really jumping any higher than when you start on the rear your just tucking urself up quick and pulling the bike up
you need to get you arse down to the tyre for som preload, and the faster the better
Yes they are both good rims, both hold grinds pretty well, with rockman blue pads!
I found the trial tech had a few flat spots after a hammering, but not sure if that was just to many grinds
