  1. He's trying to warn people that tarty are a bunch of robbing c**ts! Does it matter if it's £1 or £1000 you expect what you buy to be fit for purpose
  2. No where near when compared, they are made of plastic after all
  3. I would go with that or maybe the tarty stem
  4. I personally have had 3 of the new style maguras and when I bleed them with water they all f**ked up and leaked like mad I thought I was just unlucky with the first pair, but no just the water Also every one else who used water I spoke to had same problem
  5. Bb looks fairly low so why do you think you need a mod stem ?
  6. Water will f**k it up after a couple of weeks. Depends how often you ride Bleed it from the salves up take the levers off and hold it so the hole is vertical and at the top Don't worry about 3 threads just undo it until you can push fluid out. Keep pushing until no air, do it back up, tap the hose and slaves while keeping the lever up, then bleed a bit more fluid out that should get the last bit of air out
  7. Ha ha thought that might have been the case, although fat mike seemed to have a pretty amazing brake
  8. They have been exposed to direct sunlight and faded, seen some forks the other day like that
  9. Got some phat pads, dont work great, just wondering what rims they work with ? As I know they do work on some rims
  10. So the surface RA has nothing to do with friction? Wonder why I grind my rims then ?
  11. Yea, agree, but there's gotta to be a balance. Monty pads seemed good years ago, orange ones. X hydra or some thing
  12. I was meaning the material for the axles, as the ti bolts echo make are poor. Any ti pedal axles iv seen in Mtb/road etc have always been really strong. Same for the welgo mag with ti axles, I had some and gave them a beating and are still going
  13. Comes down to pressure over area then less area more pressure
  14. So ur saying echo use shit material or ? As the dia isn't much less
  15. Just a shame they didn't follow Carthy round
  16. Just the echo ones or titanium axles in general ?
  17. High bb is better other wise why do all the top riders go for it, you just need to change you technique, if you been on a low bb for years of course it's going to be hard work at first as you won't be doing as big stuff, but it you stick at it then you will reap the rewards in the long run! No one said trials was easy
  18. mine lasted about 4 months before i noticed a crack under the headtube, my slate xl lasted 3 months. be fine as long as you dont do loads of hooks
  19. Disc brake cleaner is mostly oil based. Your pads are contaminated now, new pads time
