  1. The frame and fork looks like it has a higher bb and that's without a headset cup which is going to raise the bb even more compared to the full build. Could be a trick of the eye Also the one in the pic might be newer as its shown with the steer on the forks cut for the newer sloping top caps I'm sure there was a high bb frame like that which Gilles rode in last years world champs ?
  2. I find the clamps a bit shit.Kept slipping, I just hole the hose in the vice now.
  3. They are just as good really just a bit more of a pain to set up. Depending on how stif the frame is depends on the feel. You will need to use a booster I ran them like that for years
  4. Iv got a gas gas 250 used to ride it all the time but the only problem is there isn't really any great places to ride around here just mudd and that the level of the general riders here is fairly low. I reckon if I lived in Yorkshire I would be on it more often
  5. It's wont boil, not at trials speeds! You can buy seals for mineral fluid for them, otherwise it will be ok for a couple of months until the seals swell

    Carbon Bars

I have crashed into a sharpe rock and made a hole in the carbon bars in the past 5p size They never did snap either
  10. Rockman have nice deep groves so they don't tend to slip

    Carbon Bars

What's this the anti carbon club. It doesn't matter if you crash loads or are a basher. I have yet to see apair of decent carbon bars snap because of damage from crashing. If you don't snap alloy bars then you won't snap carbons.
  12. Trialtechs, paint them silver if you want silver. Rockman spade snap clean off- not crack
  13. You could get away with using a spacer on each side, snail cams of any thing. I once machined a king axle to fit a hydrox frame and snail cams
  14. Are they leaking joe? Your bikes fairly new isn't it?
  15. Makes me want to build a trials course
  16. Good god I'm not over reacting, just making a couple of points. Let's just forget about it.
  17. You could just use the fittings you have, cut the old hose off and make a new cross over. Then use a new olive to put the hose back into the lever
  18. When bars are back the wrist has to bend to the side alot unless you have really wide shoulders Even more so when your right over the front wheel. And as he tends to spend most of his time with his body right over the bars it's going to work out best And you can't really say just because jack looked a bit all over the shop in his first comp of the highest level in one of the first sections means its bad Did you not see the final results? Nor the the results from Belgium ? May as well just say Gilles in shit because he's got his bars pointing down now? Since when does it matter how it looks ? Trials bikes don't have seats how strange does that look? Iv tried my bars back and forwards and ended up with them pretty far forwards, but some of that bar position is to gain some reach etc.. We can just agree to disagree on this as we both have different views

    Wawa Vs Katowice 5

Pretty sure that's a "24 rockman tractor Side hops were huge, nice technique
  20. What looks horrible about them ? Good video, improved loads since Swiss
  21. if your having trouble working out what stem will do what you can always use trig to help, remember that thing in school every one thought was a load of balls... you can always play about with spacers to adjust the hight up and down but you really need to get the right stem to get the right reach, rolling the bars doesnt always get it http://www.pagetutor.com/trigcalc/trig.html
