  1. that makes sense to me, just buy a new chain, sounds like your running some really old chains and expecting them not to snap? once a single link snaps the chains ready for the bin.
  2. Urm no your not joining it right if it's not snapping the actual chain. Join it as normal then try using a ball peen hammer and mushroom the ends of the pin over. Or use a rohloff chain tool
  3. Lol iv never been that great at pogo maybe I need a 24" It's was nice to see an all round sort of vid if you get me. Hurry up with the next
  4. I have a trialtech rear 19" rim on my mod, don't seem to hold a griNd that good for me. Also seem to flex out alot more than other rims iv had when I inflate the tyre. In run about 23psi not much really
  5. You won't get a better brake for trials than hope trial zone. It's the same every time(awsome) Yea may be there are some brakes out there that have more bite formula the one is amazing but not consistent at all. They just don't slip at all.
  6. I wouldn't risk the splitting link, they normally snap before the other links on the chain You need this chain http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mobile/MobileModels.aspx?ModelID=25433
  7. That's the 2nd bmxy style vid in enjoyed in the same day
  8. Best bmxy vid I have seen.
  9. Go for higher bb because lower bb on a 24" makes hooking impossible
  10. I can't understand why any one would use any other than a maxxis super tacky? Swamp thing is the best IMO If you puncture it your looking at flat spot or dent to the rim at best
  11. More like a soporific sound to me
  12. Yea but we don't all live uup norrth!
  13. pain nito on leave for about 5-10 mins then pressure wash it and loads of paint should come off, one area at a time, dont leave it dry as i found once it drys its not so soft
  14. I don't make lists but Some times if I think I'm particulary crap at some move then I try to practice it a bit than ours
  15. Ptfe tape will get thinner and thinner with the force If you use a lock tite it drys hard so won't work slack
  16. I'm not trying to start an argument but just because riders such as Carthy and Gilles go massive don't mean that they are ruff as f**k and putting massive amounts of stress on there bike does it? They are actually really smooth riders There are alot of riders out there at a much much lower lever putting pay more stress throught stuff on there bike Landing like a sack of shit and smashing f**k out of there bikes So your %99 isn't really correct
  17. If that's the bb you got off me I can assure you the bb is perfect. It was a nice fit in the brand new onza Limey frame I took it out of. Sound like its your frame. DON'T chase it as that will make the thread even slacker. Maybe you could try you mates bb in that just to confirm its the same fit? Your best bet would be to use some strong bearing fit or thread lock Not much else you can do really apart from bonding it in with epoxy You can heat it up to 40/60 degrees and it will come out also
  18. Totally agree, I'm just answering the question that was why have they brought out a new non welded stem Reasons are welded areas fatigue and eventually crack/snap in time under stress I'm just saying if you have that stem and go hard then it just takes a few mins just to inspect it for cracking. Might save you face If your light and smooth you probly won't need to Just pointing out some facts that's all
  19. Have you not seen it? It's the new FORGED try all stem. What's wrong with going to front wheel again ?
  20. The way you post up about trials on here it comes across that you are some god like trials rider. Id love to see a vid of you ?
  21. Maybe next time you see jack Carthy if you ask nice he might show you his scares from when he snapped his. Was also chatting to Giles father about them. He changes his faily regular as he said they crack with him. You mentioned top riders. They are pretty top. Not saying I know best. I'm totally bitter about not getting to test those pads your right, as you ok that you didn't get to test them??
  22. Yea they tent to crack and snap on the weld underneath. Just like the nuc ones. Just shows what you know eh
  23. Did you put your name on a list ? How did you go about getting them to test
