  1. Hit it harder, make sue what ever your resting the frame on is solid
  2. Just to make things clear putting the bars right the way forward is to get a bit of a longer reach to the bike not because the bar angle has to be there that's just a by-product if you could 150x25 stem the bars would be in a more ideal place Regarding bar position yea putting them forward is good, when the back sweep is at top dead centre or just a bit further is ideal as its much better to transfer you weight When they get to the point of being upside down then it becomes harder, but the benefit of having the longer reach by far out weights the strange bar angle
  3. No probs, yea that's what I'm using at the mo as they have the doty rubber which is amazingly grippy Personally the la sportiva Ganda are they best fitting and protecting I've had but expensive I'm in the process of trying to make my own shoe, will post up some pics when finished I have actually just found a guy who can resole andy shoes with the same doty rubber, he mainly just repairs climbing shoes but can do others You could get you skate style shoes done Www.llanberisresoles.com
  4. I don't have those shoes I have 5 tens, same as olly. I would like a pair
  5. I have tried both 150x30 you need a some stackers about 20mm and bars rolled right forward or the trial tech 165x35 stem no stackers Bars not so far as it extends reach.

    Hook Attempt

By going high it's basically transforming the linear force into a trying to rip the forks off using a 90 degree wedge By landing lower your pushing the bike directly into the front of the wall making it easy to keep the moment going forwards

    Hook Attempt

Your going far to high, not really a hook. Sorry for sounding like a fanny! You need to find a more vertical wall and bend your legs more while pushing the bike into the wall. Let your hips go forwards slightly to help getting the weight over the front and forwards Good effort though, it's good to practice getting up the wall but don't do that to much other wise you will find it hard to get the correct hooking technique as you will resort to your bad habit technique.
  9. They will fit the iso/classic etc as they are all shimano or campag (won't fit campag) sounds like you have a single speed king hub which is uniform
  10. You don't have much to worry about then, just getting it off
  11. They all dig in a small amount but won't cut all the way around like a single sprocket from a cassette would, only on the alloy drive shell will it cut through

Yea I understand that, but it not really the case for me as I don't tend to need an amazing brake to ride, I can ride with any brake And I have had pretty much all the "best" pads over the years and never had a problem getting them to work Almost every body who has a go on my bike gives it back saying how good my brakes are!! I was thinking maybe they didn't work best on my rim but as mark just said what rims work now I know There is to much of what marks saying about had a go on my mates bike with blah blah pads and it was best ever..... And to much loud means amazing If all pads were silent then it would be a different story I like my brake to work

Lgm well over rated, basically then just like cousts. I did try a couple of grinds got them to work ok but not amazing. Just stuck my beleay pads on any grind and they are amazing.

Lol pad war! So what rim do these lgm pads work on because I found they so shit. Yes they are so loud you need ear plugs loads of bite but no hold ? Never have any problems with the belaey pads. Apart from ear breaking sounds. Yea cousts are good if you like bite. They don't really have that much hold
  15. Ye it's awsome how good he his and like I said I love his style I just couldn't get what the hype was when I just watched that John Webster vid who is doing some really big lines and people don't seem bothered almost. I rode with Pavel at the last world cup, he doesn't compare to the big guys with how big he's going. I'm not slating him by the way, I suppose I'm just a bit confused with the lack of coments on ther vids on here

  17. At the risk of getting slated I gotta say what's all the hype, I don't think he goes very big at all. I think because he's on a 24" and not a massive bloke stuff looks really big when he's next to stuff. Yea he's got balls to size of tennis balls.. And nice style. Fair play for going to that post... Just saying lol
  18. Don't get how so few coments about this video, John is so good he makes every thing look like a curb. If any one seen h ride for real you will get what I'm saying. Some awsome lines in there
