  1. Try lifting your lever up a bit I know seems stupid but try not to grip the bars do hard, the more you can relax the better What gloves do you have ? If they have Velcro straps don't do them up so tight
  2. That was filmed over a fair few months Put it this way he got them just after the alter world cup. Which was 1 week before antrewpn And he's still using them now and the last time I rode with him just a couple of weeks ago. So basically the season. I don't use them I'm just saying what I was told about the leather ones being so good And if you did notice in the video he's wearing the same five tens which he's spray painted twice Now can you stop causing arguments as I'm just stating some facts
  3. I was thinking 26" as she mentioned those cranks Wasn't thinking about 24" gearing Any 22-19 or 20-17 was always the gearing used for trials many years ago when I first started, way before you knew what trials was so don't give me this know it all shit. And if my original post wasn't any use to the personal who started the topic. Never mind as your clearly just looking to show how above me you are. 4. For give me I was thinking trials, most freewheels over £9.99 should be fine
  5. I'm not an expert on these but Carthy has had his yellow leather rebos and he's a guy who's riders atleast as much as most if not more. For the season and he's still using them now
  6. Yea which is far to hard for trials
  7. Why not 20t chainring with normaly 18t freewheel on rear ?
  8. Lol painted nipples is that a new thing ? Iv always used tape just because it's easy. It's handy and it lasts forever and is also about 1/4 of the weight
  9. With a higher tension spring you can use thicker grease which will still allow full engagement but lower the rolling resistance. Also the temperature range which the hub is used at will be increased. Not really trials related but heh
  10. So far I don't know of any of the older try all carbons being snapped. The new ones I know of 3 pairs to have been snapped so if you like the old ones and prefer to be different from the rest get them
  11. Leather version does Mine have worn pretty fast nearly dead in 4 months
  12. They did make 5 different spring tensions over the year if I remember right. Just the stronger spring

Whys it the same to me ? Your going on about his brake must be amazing.. No if you can just get your weight right over the front then your brake will hold. Sorry if you think I'm implying your crap or some thing. Which I'm not I'm just trying to get you to under stand what I'm say. It's about spatial awareness and the best easy for you to see that is by video Not saying he's not a good rider. Doesn't matter they are on different levels or not it's stil the same technique

5ed every section His front brake is no where near as good as you think, intact when I rode with him it slipped loads. He rams the front wheel right into the corner
  18. Yea but isn't aluminium the most comon material used for steerer tubes these days?
  19. The try all Alu forks still snap off at the top of the headset like twigs. The headset design doesn't help but still!
  20. I'd be alot more worried about steerer tube snapage than bar snapage
  21. It's his front brake hand he doesn't pull the lever until he needs to Loads of top riders do it
