  1. like josh says 5mm hole is fine just make sure you use some WD40 or oil to help cutting or you got a high chance of snapping the tap
  2. no, i was talking in general terms of the dsgin of the A-headset use in the world of trials. thats always my solution, also done this for some friends after them breaking about 5 while trying to fitt it
  3. if you are a fairly smooth rider for the same price get the K2 they are 'said' to hold a grind better than ours, from what riders at the world cups said. maybe you could build the wheel with some washers to stop the spokes pulling through? still be very light best of all then?
  4. imsure Gilles will let his riding do the fighting... http://You may be right Kenny, is not the question .... It's just a shame that a brand as big as GT is not designed an innovative Falling over .. I thought it was a Coustellier with a stiker GT! Kenny and finally, the "shut up", you keep it to yoursel
  5. been saying this for last 2 years
  6. yea but some times with steel steerer or carbon steerer the stem wont grip so well, and if you used a trouqe wrench and used the 5nm or what ever it is it will come lose with out a good star nut. it actually helps alot
  7. sorry i mean this one is more reliable http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_rear_rims/rockman_single_wall_rear_26_inch/c25p11274.html just incase im mixing them up, the sky 2 rim i think its called has the big holes and eyelets but angled sidewalls, this is shit because it wont hold a grind the even older one is the best one for all round http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/26_inch_rear_rims/rockman_single_wall_rear_26_inch/c25p11274.html
  8. you can use the normal 1 1/8" but you just need to grind it down a bit, just by eye is fine. you can also just grind the slots a bit deeper helps it to flex a bit more with out snapping.
  9. amazing shame about the quality of the clips, cant wait for the next one
  10. 8.45kgs if were guessing. nice bike
  11. the rockma/try all single wall hole style rim, best all round rim but not the lightest
  12. the older sky rim was shit for holding a grind, no way was it as bad as viz, as i had both... but it was light and pretty strong the new k2 is ment to be good for holding a grind, but no eyelets and the spokes can pull out. but again very light
  13. of course i would normaly say sky but you had the best slate ever and sold it in a week.. so id say double disc mod. gotta be double disc then you can have more fun hacking round the street pulling some bmx stuff, double maggy is just to deadly for any controled street fun.. but they you can still ride amazing natural on it i had the most fun on a double disc 20" out of all the bikes i had

    Pads

One thing to remember the rockman pads are shorter so naturally will have more bite. It's impossible to compare But both work great for me
  15. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="PaRtZ" data-cid="2472865" data-time="1355825745"><p> I like the track pump method personally. Waynio showed me and it <em class='bbc'>blew</em> my mind...<br /> Put the track pump end inside the grip at one end, create a seal with your hand over the other end (hand around the bar and grip) and pump and slide! Obviously, the air expands the grip slightly enough for you to move the grip along the bar.<br /> I like that zip tie method though, nice idea</p></blockquote> I'm lazy so I much rather the compressor method

    Gu 2013 Frame

Hang on he's come up with some evidence, pics topics etc and he's still getting laughed at. Tipical trials forum. Yea maybe that guy was a bit unlucky but regarding the frame burton has they are going to make sure they send him one of the best frames. It's just quality control. Simple as that.
  17. Yeah no ones runs onza pads because they are horrific. When it comes to pads you pick the best not the pads that come in your favourite colour? Tnn over heatsink any day, my loyalty represents the best performance.
