  1. You mean you talk shit the other 10% ?how do you find time? Your on here 24/7 I said 70 because iv done 65 So far. I'm 68kgs doom happy with that and I'm still learning the technique. Can't wait to see a vid from you
  2. Kool post up a video then, considering you been doing it so long you should be good for 70kg clean ? Is are you at the same level as on your bike ?
  3. What before the high jump? What are you talking about. You would argue with your own shadow? Copy and paste from goggle Triple extension is caused in much of Olympic weightlifting by the hip extension literally lifting the feet into a plantar flexed position, without much or any help from the calves and triple extension is often done simply for the lifter to move his feet to a different catch position rather than add to the force driving the bar
  4. No. The part when his ankles moved is called the triple extension, the weight has already moved, and basics physics tells you that every reaction is equal to its opposite reactions If he stood on the balls of his feet and tried to lift that 214kgs he will lose power when his heels are pushed down onto the floor. Don't bother arguing, just do some reading for yourself Iv been doing some Olympic lifting over the last 3 months and my coach was British champion a few years ago. Make more videos please stan+mark
  5. That's what alot of triathletes do, they drill new holes in their spd shows to get it more midsole. It's less efficient but you can get more power when it comes to an explosive move Just like Olympic lifters drive from the heels and coming off the ball of the foot allows the foot to flex at the ankle which soaks up loads of power.
  6. It's really nice to have a brake that's not ear distorting. Makes watching much more enjoyable.
  7. Really? Don't make stupid statements like that.
  8. to be honest when my pads wear out totally i get new ones, set them up perfect and then never do any thing but use the brake as intended, until they are worn out when i had a v it was great for a while, couple of months later and plenty of rainy rides the cable was all slow and felt shit. Lgm pads dont have much hold though so you cant compare
  9. I would invest in some better pad material and some better cable Nokon style is good. Maguras are less maintenance in the long run over v brake But if you been happy with v brake for years then you might as well save your money and get new pads and cable
  10. Ruff both surfaces up with some sandpaper or a wire wheel
  11. Looking forward to it vimeo.com/m/25348706 Watch that and you can see the difference between the two.
  12. at first they look like one part but i think they are separate, it looks like the bash can be flipped over for a left foot rider
  13. Wickid video enjoyed that, gonna be one to watch in the next few years. Only thing I'd say is try to improve your pedal up tech. You stop to pedal to early and just pull up. Before you learn that bad habit change it as soon as you can
  14. Well start at the bottom and hop up as far as you can. Or until you can hop for 2.5 mins non stop. I normaly find my fitness is poor at the start of the season and half way through iv got a nice level of fitness
  15. Can you link us to some of these vids in particular please ?
  16. Get out and find some grass banks and muddy rocks. Maybe a stream with rocks and practice your two wheels movements up and down the banks and over rocks
  17. I'd say that some times the elite sections are much nicer than the expert or intermediate sections. Just a much bigger side hope or gap. But maybe less tech. There are some really tricky bits in the lower levels that would catch out alot of riders in the elite and expert sections
  18. Not sure if there is any point telling you this as you seem to know best, firstly I'd take your king hub to some one who's not stupid and get it set up correctly. It's not that hard. Tensile freewheels are nice if you like exploding freewheels, and no face
  19. You get more pre load into the muscle if you jump up and come down like that, the same as if you done a jump from standstill or one with a jump
  20. your diet can help, but just get better and try to rest the rear brake arm as and when you can
  21. that was pretty kool, i like how it was a comp/demo good for the public
  22. <blockquote class='ipsBlockquote'data-author="315r" data-cid="2474271" data-time="1356186081"><p> Cheapest option for Spain is FEDEX economy, 15 pounds. :'(</p></blockquote> Sorry mean if you buy from Spain there must be a cost of postage any way ? Unless you collect
  23. I think it's worth the extra, postage must cost £8 in Spain so not alot more
