  1. Either way you do it it's forcing the inner ring onto the balls and onto the grove of the outer. By hitting it your going to damage the outer. But as echo can't machine their hubs to the correct tolerance for a bearing fit you should beable to hit it out with your bare hand. If your that worried just replace the bearing that you hit out with a new one But it should be ok Just make sure you press the bearing back in using pressing against the outer ring. Use a socket and a vice as I'm guessing you have just the hub ready to be built up to a 26" rim
  2. I found it feels a bit lighter than water. Was great untill it leaked out of my 2011 magura
  3. Yea it's good for learning to have a shit bike, and I don't really mess about with my brake when I'm just out practicing as yes it's nice to make what ever move easily and not landing like a sack of shit an your brake just holding But when it comes to a comp I grind my rim ready so my brake is as good as it can be. But there is no need to be negative(said this already) if it's not for you then don't spend your whole day posting negative and stupid arguments on here. Just read and keep it to yourself I havnt seen any one slagging off carbon bars just because they have alloy bars and can't justify spending out of expensive bars ? Same this here
  4. For some one who doesn't work for tarty you seem to know a hell of a lot.
  5. And up there your grind is dead in a days riding Can any one remember the mavic cerarimc rims? They were a bit stronger than the same rims with out the coating
  6. Yes iv rode there about 15 times
  7. I can't remember to be honest, but my guess is that it's todo with the lever body flexing and rubbing the piston as its shape is destorted As the marks seem to be in line with the pivoting action But yea I hope they can sort it. But as its only a problem for us trials guys I can't see magura doing much. Has any one had theirs replaced on warranty ? Iv got a pair that started to leak after a month or so that came on my sky. Didn't bother sending them back to tarty as it would have probly started another argument.
  8. You main ride the top of Shipley though don't you ? Your lucky that that area isn't really so harsh on grinds as so dusty places can
  9. And they both leak like f**k after a couple of months when used for trials. Might be ok for normal cycling but us trials riders must pull loads harder or the lever to f**k the lever as we do
  10. Sounds like your sorted then
  11. I can do this if any one has a hub they want done
  12. He's looks better on a mod IMO
  13. I bet you would pay £5 or what ever it is for a grind from tarty Thanks you, finally some one gets it, would be cheap if they were producing large quantities
  14. Kenny is a business man that's why, Gilles doesn't want to ride demos. He just wants to ride trials You can see his dislike now that he has to do a little bit for the crowds now he's sponsored by the guys who build the pro series The game is trials. The don't put your feet down and you win ? Gilles dosnt put his feet down
  15. Did you know it was broken as soon as you landed or did it feel like it would be ok in a couple days ?
  16. People who arnt pros are spending wAy more of ti fittings for magura just for the hell of ?? He's saying if he gets larger batches it's going to be alot cheaper But I'm glad you didn't come up with some shit excuse rather than saying its to expensive Which yea I agree price is to high at the moment
  17. Right so your telling me you can tell the difference between 0.00mm and 0.10mm By eye ? I don't think so now stop being so negative

    Carbon forks

Well eventually you will wear through them but I'd imagine the rest of the parts on your bike would be f**ked by then to. Just put a jaff bikes carbon protector and stick it on the leg if you are that worried
