  1. Hannes herman has 2. Atleast 1kg difference when I picked them up If I got gym 3-5 times a week I can't ride properly because I'm sore
  2. Every time I used this method the chain snapped. Also has a couple of people offer to get them off for me but they never could This method is ok aslong as the sprocket isn't to tight I made a proper tool for the job in the end
  3. I'm a novice but the only thing I use the smiths machine for is to hang my coat. So no one try any clean jerk moves ?
  4. At 3.45 what is that top your wearing ?
  5. I'm sure the bike shop can work out what spoke lengths is needed
  6. Because when I ride rocks I'm normally using the front brake with the wheel hooked over an edge. With rear brake off So having front magura with no flex would be nice
  7. No your right, but it is needed for some spoke/hub combination. In this case.
  8. Just remembered the sapim guy builds kennys wheels with washers. Next you see a pic look closer
  9. If you contacted an experienced wheel builder who's been at it 10-20 years they would tell you washers are needed
  10. If you do a google search 'timecert' I think the Od thread is 7x1 Regarding the boses it depends on what material they are made from. Some cheap mild steel is going to be alot softer and flexible than some higher grade tool steel Ideally you want some with a larger shoulder, as big as you can get away with
  11. Check the bb in tight in the frame. The trialtech has a shorter thread, iv found they come lose more often than others
  12. This doesn't work as your body gets used to what ever your doing. Repeating the same stuff your body gets to a level then stops. I thought you need to fake your body into thinking it needs to get stronger etc but I'm no expert You can only ride for so long before you start getting tired and that stage I can't see how you can improve technique.
  13. It's hard to say how long it would last. If it came lose at all and you didn't notice that would have the potential to damage the treads. Personal I would get some made up with a finer pitch tread. 8x 1mm pitch or maybe even 0.75 would make it alot stronger Your beat off using some decent stud fitt to. Also don't tap it by hand. Use a pillar drill if you can. By tapping it by hand you will have a much slacker thread
  14. Yea sorry I was talking about the trialtech bb's and cartridge style in general
  15. Does any one on here do any weight training or plyo metric training to improve their trials ? Some people say that Olympic liftings will help improve power etc. I'm a real novice at that kinda stuff and I was wondering what kind of thing people do for training etc Not just your average rider, I'm wondering what kinda training the pro riders do. I know riding is a big part but fitness, and conditioning must play a big part. Most pro athletes these days do other training than their actual sport. Don't they ?
  16. You should just use a torque wrench and do them up with that about 42Nm should be ok if I remember rightly. Basically just dont do them up like a mad man which is going to stretch the traper on the crank. Just keep checking them for a couple of rides. Once the alloy crank work Hardens it will stay tight You dont need the spacers on the bb
  17. You can always use a rear mech if you got one spare
  18. Might be a bit expensive at that price, be cheapest if some one had a 2nd hand hub they wanted to mod Like I said I can do this if any one needs. Are you running rear disc ?
  19. He can just buy some free hub bodies and modify them to sell
  20. And what's that got to do with you ? Awaits the that will void your warranty line Unlike you I'm not stupid, now go and find a different thread to ruin
