  1. Yea it makes it twice as hard for the best rider. It keeps it more open which maybe is a bit more exciting for on lookers.
  2. There can only be one rider riding at a time as the following rider must Start the same section with one minute of the previous rider. (I that makes any sense)
  3. because forging tooling costs a lot of money, its much cheaper just to machine from a lump of aluminium. the first middle burns where just machined rather than forged then machined and they where very weak.
  4. Although i don't fully disagree with this the manufacture has the duty to produce something fit for the purpose intended and the retailer is just as responsible to fully understand the product before putting it on sale. if companies like Trialtech can do it why can't others? Racingline as just looking for a quick profit. Is it really acceptable that the testing in being carried out by the customer? at quote from your site: making the Hashtag sound strong…. why doesn't the description highlight the 'light cranks might snap'? Fully CNC machined cranks feature large cutouts from the rear faces, saving lots of weight while still ensuring good strength and stiffness. - Just 3.3% heavier than the lightest standard setup currently available, whilst being stiffer as for the Hashtag freewheel i don't think its sorted yet, i would personally suggest to get the Crewkerz BB30 cranks and the newer freewheel which seems great so far (fully black in colour)
  5. Looks good to me. I'm sure you can alot higher than the stack you had there. Learn to use the front wheel to
  6. Sounds like you have answered your own question. Of course both play a big part. But for you it sounds like your plenty strong enough. What is your vertical jump ? It would help if you posted a clip so we could analyse your technique
  7. Maybe with a series of holes where you can put in a pin to get the desired location? It's a nice idea to stop it spinning but not really to difficult to get it where you need if you fit it in the vice and tighten the freewheel up before the cranks installed ?
  8. Fingers crossed for sunshine

  10. Lake ogwen is pretty amazing so worth taking your bike. Miles away from me though
  11. What happened to the fun bolt ?
  12. did you do the original bleed? it sounds like air.
  13. that was really good to watch, he's got so much power but less control. its really good to see that many people watching too. where can i watch the 20?
  14. Nice move. But did he win on the day ?
  15. This is a trials forum though, not a film making forum. Not every one finds producing videos so easy. Just try to be slightly more constructive.
  16. yea, sure goes massive
  17. put the pads in the oven and clean the rotor with meths. you will find that the spray cleaning may contain oil
  18. he does seem to pedal every thing to rear as if he's on a 26 though
  19. was ok once it got going, some really good riding in there which kinda got lost in that video, still no need to be so negative towards them… not to mention the time you wasted moaning every body has a different perception of what looks good, thats just life.
  20. Yea the only problem with alot of small batch work is alot of the time is set up or change over. This means the costs going to be increased which will ether be passed on to the customers or absorbed by the business. Not really sustainable? What I mean is if you spend 50% of over all production time on setup you will double the cost per part. The downside on a small business with only 1 machine
