  1. Yeah, 18:15 with 175 is pretty common. In fact most of the new horizontal drop frames will, for the most part, only let you run 18:15. Granted there are a few (some Echos) which are designed for 18:16 which feels a little lighter but not a significant difference in the end.
  2. I have a Tyy-all stem which requires a similar sloped cap. Instead, I just took a carbon stem spacer I had laying around and ran an angle grinder on it. Now I just use a regular old standard cap.....its a cheap, quick alternative if you have old spacers laying around.. I hope that makes sense?
  3. I have beeen using a water bleed for a little over a year now and I prefer it over oil and WD40 which I've also used. In terms of simplicity, bleeding with water is about as simple as it gets. I fill the sink up give the system a few pumps and its done. Alot of people have mentioned that it can damage seals and cause your pistons to stick. I have not had any problems with this. I do, however, add a fair amount of anti-freeze to the water and I was told this helps act as a lubricant for the seals and such. I also lubricate the pistons(from the outside) with a little oil every now an then. Regardless, its worked well for me and they are much "snapier" than when bled with oil. Give it a go!!
  4. Hello all, I'm new to the forum here although I've browsed the sight for quite sometime now. I have a question about hubs for my Koxx Karbon. When I originally purchased the frame I was told, that in order to run the horizontal dropouts with snail cams, my only option for a rear hub was the Tryall H hub and use the 2mm spacers that come with it. Browsing the forum here, I noticed a post which had pics of a Koxx Boxx using an Echo rear hub and snails. I should be able to use this same hub on my Karbon, corrrect? Here is the thread with said picture http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....rame+horizontal Which Echo hub is this? If anyone has any info reagarding the different hubs that I can use that will allow me to run my horizontal drop outs with snail cams, please let me know so I can get this sorted finally. Cheers, Ryan
