Anyone up for riding the trials park two weeks on saturday? no comp rules just a ride that everyone will most likely enjoy! So anyone up for it?

Ill try for a week or so see if it gets any better but if not i give up if they dont work after a week then im going to just send them back and see whats wrong. i think thats the best idea

I bought that chain 2 days ago from my lbs lol

the surface on my pads are clean but the pad slides across my table and i can feel it is wanting to take a grip but isnt lol EDIT: pic of brake surface, sorry about quality

they werent holding that great lol. i wasnt trying anything thats why. the brake only sounded like it was holding but it wasnt. here are some pics for the people! I used the macro mode on my phone so it shound be semi desent

i am pretty sure its the pads because the brake was perfect with the last pads and now i have no money to buy a new pair lol or anything to do with the setup

I have a diamondback tekiya frame and i have rode it for like 2 weeks or so. at the lever the brake doesnt have any movement once the pads hit the rim

so whats the difference in all the other vee brake setups?

it is just a standard tektro setup lol but it worked well with the last pads

this is my first vee brake on a trials bike so i dont know how to set them up very well. but with the Plazmatics spanish fly v pads i set them up the exact same and they worked amazing!

nope i fitted them perfectly onto the vee brake and rode. I gave the pads about 3 days to bed in so it wasnt becuase they wern't.

i have given my rim two grinds since i got the pads first was a light grind and they didnt work at all and the harsh grind they act just the same. on the pad material there is like the remains of dry glue which hasnt probably stuck properly. the other pad is pretty secure however

so...

right.. i just bought a pair of the red heatsink pads with the CNC V backings and they have no hold and i have grinded my rim so harsh that it would probably destroy some other kinds of pads. another thing is after 2 days of riding one of the pads fell out of the backings . I am very disapointed because i have heard soooo many good reports on these pads and this has happened. can anyone tell me where i stand?
