Britain is narrow-mindedly trying to make 1 rule fits all and people of society must conform to the rules, maybe I can say it's too democratic. For example, when I was on the dole I went to a career day with the job centre half-wits. I found out they can't wear a tie because 1 employee (in London! I'm in Newcastle) was attacked by having their tie yanked. I was told ties are banned now in all jobCentres. Why does some authority feel the need to step in and make that decision for the JobCentre employees? Are they incapable? Im sure in their life they have made bigger choices. The authorities should look at punishment of the attacker instead. Same about the small argos pens in the JocCentre. They are small so they can be used as less of a weapon. Why do we need that kind of protection? I lived in Thailand (very few rules, just morals, in the moment decisions and good natured people) and I had a scooter. I knew I was gonna use it for 1 year. A licence, tax and insurance is £12. Being stopped by the police who don't care about any paperwork, £4. This is better for everyone. The policeman gets cash and I just go on my way. So maybe a little corruption is what we need in UK.

You could always try appreciating what you got instead of claiming your life is so hard and only think about yourself. Since you're Russian I'd advise against working at cinemas in the UK, I was sacked cus I didn't smile enough. Bloody minimum wage 70% cleaning job!

Help I'm new and having serious problems.

Just be patient and you'll find reasonable options. Are the crank bolts tightened? There's no prob with single speed either? -
Good idea. I'd rather hear than breath

You have failed the practice citizenship test. Questions answered correctly: 9 out of 24 (38%) Time taken: 04 minutes 24 seconds I honestly thought I guessed more than 9 correctly. Maybe people applying for British citizenship should gain citizenship if they get 10 or fewer. If they know the answers then they're obviously not British. There's nothing on culture & hobbies. I.e. what tradition meal is eaten on Sundays, or what do brits like to complain about (that could be a long one)

Lots of BB rise. And drilled holes in the cranks? Is this new.. I've not been keeping up to date

A problem that isn't female related - Windows 7 security etc.

Try formatting. And when you're downloading programs and installing them don't blindly click next, cus they always sneak some shitty toolbar or security program which craps up your computer. Try Ubuntu. If you just surf the web it's the best! You can do nearly everything that you can on w7, but you need emulators and a little know-how to run exe files etc -
Who's to say she's not an engineer? or astronaut? I haven't watched the video but I doubt her life story is on there, only the messed up part of it.

I agree, the internet should be used to bitch about these saddos.

What if they were robbing in order to feed their family? I find Russians are rude and angry anyway, I wouldn't expect anything less than killing in Russia. This vids about Russia right?

Just a quick question. Can I use any bleeding syringe to bleed my HS33s 05-11 model? The reason I ask is because in the Magura tech video they used 2 barbs or whatever on either side, and a syringe. Which begs the question - why are there so many components in the 27£ Magura kit?
-
A small venomous snake came into my ex's house in rural Thailand. It coiled up behind a cabinet until I fearfully broomed it away.
-
From my experience of HS33s, the weather shouldnt be a prob. Ive not tweaked my brakes in 6 years and they're still working fine. Could do with a rebleed.
-
I had a dream about a snake in my house after reading this thread. I would peak around the corner down the corridor and it would always be looking. I would peak again and it would just keep staring, but I always thought it was gonna come for me.

Thats a nice read. After uni I went to Thailand for 1 year to travel and teach English. Now I work full time and it's very fulfilling at the moment. However I believe it'll plateau eventually when I've filled my boots and that's when I'll look into going back travelling. I think about it now, but maybe I need to let go of my future.

Let me optimise something that doesn't work as well as it could do
hI-OOPS-CAPS replied to dann2707's topic in Chit Chat
Is this engineering or design? If this is the basis of something that leads you further into your education I'd recommend researching robust design and Taguchi's method. If you know the function and limits of whatever the device is subjected to then it should be possible to optimise the device so it lasts many uses/cycles (refers to 6 sigma - something the Japanese follow and why Hondas/Toyotas go on forever). Of course the more random or more variables you have the harder it is to design for. I don't believe I've answered your question, but it may be of value to you. -
I want to try teabagging, either that or spitirtual attainments.

My guitar might just be too low quality, it's a Fender Squire. But I can still learn to set it up properly. Theres a site http://fretmd.com/electric-guitar-nut-setup/ showing how to check the nut height. I've nearly got rid of the fret buzzing, it's just on string 6 and 5 on the first few frets.
-
Yes it's a tremolo. I've actually straightened the neck now, it had a bilbical forward bend. I've adjusted the saddle heights however I believe the nut is a problem (and has been causing fret buzzing since I bought it 5 years ago). Now, I know how to adjust everything except the nut. It seems like I need a feeler gauge and some shims or a file.
-
Can any guitar be setup to play fast or slow, i.e. the string height? I have a Fender Squire and I'm at a stage now where I want to lower the action to play faster.

Im glad your future is now sorted, after being in dispute between 2 extremes only a week or two ago. In England, as kids we may plan or dream what job we may do when we're older. But in Russia the choice seems far simpler, a good or bad person?

Late night thread - Groovy baby. (no posts before 2AM)

It's so late its morning now, fml -
It might be ok if you're patient and tolerant, but draw the line somewhere.

Sounds like you're worrying or after change.
