Both are wrong to me. Eureka is an effect pinpointing a specific time which has been adopted into an adjective. So both should be spoken "he had a moment of eureka."

Yeah man, things are going really well for him. There is a selfish element that sees his unit as a place to work and get work done in a nicer area. But I hugely want this to work for him, he is far too good to be working to the bone as he does only to fill someone elses bank account.

You guys might be quite interested to know I have just done a bit of a deal with my friend who does all the work on my A3, basically he took out a unit the other week and has gone self employed. We have come to a bit of an agreement where by I do valets and cleans for his service customers at his unit every Thursday. I have got two lined up for this Thursday, a 12 plate A4 S-Line avant and an Alfo Mito, and potentially one for next Thursday already in the pipe line. So if anybody is local to Launceston and wants some Jardo-loving done to their pride and joy then let me know. I should be able to have a fairly good setup there so should be able to do a good job. Exciting stuff!

Can I have an umbrella?

This sucks. The last part that is. I would like to suggest that we meet up soon? I may visit your residence next Thursday.

They look really proper...as coasters? They're tiiiiiiiiny. Have you got any after pictures? And T Cut? Realllllly. Also, last but not least....Don't builders usually set themselves up next to skips? I'm hardly surprised its covered in cement dust. Xxx

Cheers easy, I thought it looked pretty much bob on. *why are iPads so fecking annoying to type on!

Check the terminals for corrosion, if one is corroded it sets the whole lot out. I had a Mk3 2L laser which did exactly the same thing.

Yeah, nobody gives a f**k. Wonky exhaust has well and truly excelled itself.

Boom, found mine. Just like that! This - http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drift-cars-sale-private-sales/201934-sale-camo-painted-bmw-e36-328-sport-drift-car.html That would be super badass fun.

306 GTI I think. How about we all meet back here at 21:20 with a sub £1000 track car?
-
Sounds pretty rad to me. What colour did you go for?

GMFV on the Audi will be set at 85% of its projected trade in value at month 36; and as such you won't be in positive equity until at least month 85% of the agreement. So you'll be buying yourself out or refinancing the negative equity if you buy out much before month 26. Just so you know...Because when you do come to sell it, you WILL be paying the full amount. New car PCP deals are very different to use car purchases.
-
Fair play, I wouldn't though because I'm a fat slobby car salesman. You're lucky to get me off Candy Crush for 5 mins, let alone climbing Everest.
-
But he still owes more than he started with. It's you that's missing the point. If he wanted to lower his monthly outgoings he could have sold the Golf R, bought a tidy E46 diesel BMW (or something for 3/4K), run it for 6 months and cleared his finances and then started a fresh. As it is he's consolidated his finances and taken out an agreement for more than he started with.
-
But you also wouldn't tell somebody on an open forum whos job is hugely linked with car finance that you'd chopped in a 23K car for a 28K car and saved money... It'd be like me telling you that I climbed Everest the other day, on my hands. You'd know it wasn't true. *I'm mega stoked and incredibly jealous that the guys got a new 8V, I'd love to be in a position that I could justify £340 a month on car finance to get a new A3. They're really really nice cars. But the theory behind his original post just doesn't hold up. If he'd have just said "I've bought an 8V A3" then I'd have said it's awesome. But he's said "I've bought an 8V A3 which cost me more than the car I part exchanged, and it's saving me a load of money." Which doesn't make annnnny sense.
-
The reason I got wound up is this - You mentioned everything I am trained to look out for, which told me you were looking to save money and retain your creature comforts and the things you like from your PX. These same things I am trained to look for and sell off the back of really annoy me because they just don't make sense, I don't understand the whole "spend 10K on a new car to save £90 a year on tax and 1000 a year on fuel". I use it as a positive selling technique, I'd say "So what put the new A3 on your shopping list then?" And you'd say all of the above quotation, and tell me everything you don't like about your part exchange etc and then sell the benefits of the new A3 to yourself. I'd just get to sit there and go "Uhhuh, yeah sure." and then make you a coffee and you'd sign up. At least you go and look at stuff and actually buy it, hats off for that.
-
Well enjoy it, I just get annoyed because I have to deal with people telling me how much cash they're going to save by signing up to a new car all day every day. 8V's look badass, I saw one the other day and actually stopped to watch it drive past.

Hardly shit stirring; I'm doing you guys a favour and sorting the bullshit from the decent posts. I help loads of people, constantly. It was only two pages ago I was telling you why a leaking slave cylinder would cause clutch slip. So back in your box compadre. Oh, and just to add...I was right in the first place, and the guy has proved it himself. So alllllll your beys can get off my back because as I originally said, all he's done is sign him up to more finance in a different way. On paper he owes more; just like I said. And that's all I need.
-
I'm right; he's finance more. If he got 23K for the Golf and a new A3 is £27,000(give or take) OTR then he's paid more. He's said it himself, and if you guys can't see that then you're as much of a mug as he is.
