http://www.theultimatefinish.co.uk/swissvax/crystal-rock-paul-daltons-state-of-the-art-wax-200ml.aspx?gclid=CL6Jt4Cg57oCFQXHtAod7mUAUQ This weekend. Quite excited.

Dropped off the A3 last night. Now I am very sad.
-
I didn't do it myself, hence why it doesn't look shit haha.
-
Dropped the Audi back at the bodyshop today, I dropped it off last week but they only had premix and I wanted it mixed and gunned. Both bumpers, stone chips on the bonnet and a small scuff on the rear arch. Which will hopefully all be gone by the end of the day

Sorry to hear of your misfortune Danny. Make sure to agitate the fall out remover after it has dwelled, then rinse and re-apply fall out remover.

You need a Forge map sensor adapter. Presses in place and takes it from 19mm up I believe. Entirely common, seen it 1000 times. You can see it in this image - Phone Phil at Millers Motor Services, tell him Jardo sent you. He has one on the shelf, I know this because I gave it to him a few months ago. https://m.facebook.com/MillersMotorService?id=175591079266063&_rdr /that. Didn't read the next post...sorry.

Seems to depend on the soap and creme that you use. Apparently it is gentler on the skin because you should use a hot towel and oils to open up the pores before shaving.

It's literally just how I talk haha. ABC, always be closing haha. Xxx

Welll, I got a quality cut throat with 40 disposable razors (80 shaves) for £24.99. Which IMO is hugely better value than buying disposables. Couple that with a Taylor's shaving foam, with a lid which acts as a bowl. And a Taylor's post shave oil, and a brush for £22.99. Because all the shaving jazz has loads of bergamot and other manly things in it I smelt really nice all day. I just found the whole experience very relaxing, and generally it made me feel good as well as gave a cracking shave. And it was a hot topic down the pub. So whilst everyone is growing a mo this month, why not treat the rest of your facial features to a cut throat shave?

Does anybody else on here do it? I have just started, and I bloody love it. I have got a couple of nicks, but it is well worth it.

The one on the left is Angelwax Desirable. Smells like bubblegum? That is a very soft, synthetic show wax. Gives one of the highest glosses of any anywax on the market. It is a brilliant wax, but gives a very synthetic and sharp look. This is my old car waxed with Desirable. This wax is best applied very thin with a 90ppi sponge. The work in time is roughly three minutes, two minute haze and two minute buffing. The second wax looks like Angelwax original. Which is a natural medium content wax, with good depth and a very light gloss. Excellent for dark cars, or a more traditional finish. I have used a panel pot, and was very impressed. It doesn't like to be layered well. This is well worth applying by hand, rubbing a button sized piece into your hands like moisturiser, then crossing your thumbs and applying in small over patting V shapes. Taking two minutes to work, 5 minutes to haze then 5 minutes to buff using a clean super plush microfiber for each panel. It HAS to be a super plush, or it will haze and hologram. I spritz the car over with QD and gently spread it over the panel before hand waxing, it helps the wax last and spread. I don't have any pictures of original, but it was very close to the Waxybox Anniversary.

Good to know Danny, his postage is always next day and he is a good lad. Angelwax products are my new favorite. See the water behavior in this video,

I like to use an APC, diluted 20:1 and a fine microfiber on leather. Autofinesse APC is nice, and it smells of light pine. Then retreat it with Glyptone conditioner and buff it with a microfiber to the desired shine. My leather has a nice supple feel, and is a satin finish. I have cleaned it this way. For fabrics on half leather seats a quick spritz with a quick detailer and a gently brush with a cloth works very well.

No wax protects from stone chips, no wax protects from branches and physical damage. People who would use a colour charged show wax like the one I am testing would only care about the beading and sheeting performance, the durability, the colour depth and gloss, the ease of application and removal as well as the long term for hazing or retention of finish. I am doing a long term test piece for Mark at the Detailing Barn to show the durability of Angelwax when correctly applied to a correctly prepared car. A week in, and 500 miles later the water is still beading heavily and sheeting on uncurved panels. The depth of gloss is still excellent and the wax doesn't seem to have dropped in terms of clarity either. Birds droppings which had been on over night were easily wiped clean with no wax deterioration or paintwork hazing. I pressure washed the car this morning, with no shampoo or contact and it has come out like the day I waxed it. So basically it has provided a medium gloss, soft show finish wax with a high endurance hard wax durability. Which is quite exciting and will be something the normal show wax users would love, because they can get the same results for longer with less wax. This is a show wax; not a cake it on for winter protection wax like Collinite. Wax it once with a show wax, and do a month's worth of shows without high maintenence inbetween. Yes. Although, use AngelWax Revelation because it is cheaper and smells better and works better. Order from Mark at Brotek and tell him I sent you, you will get it next day.

It would appear so, what's the issue?

I will be doing a fairly boring write up on AngelWax Dark Angel over the weekend. I have been heart breakingly not washing my car for a week to try and do a real life actual test on the stuff. It's amazing! Anybody with a black car who is looking for a show wax with real world durability, this is certainly for you!

Last night I opened the bonnet. I have had the car for a week, so I thought it was about time I checked if there was an engine in there. Never seen anything so filthy in my life! So I wrapped the wings and front bumper in cling film, put cling film over the fuse box and replaced the lid and set about it with my steam gun. I scrubbed years worth of minging rubbish off the washer bottles, inlet pipes, engine covers etc. Then polished and waxed the edges and underside of the boot, inner wings, bulkhead etc. This morning I have dropped the car off at the bodyshop to have the front bumper resprayed, and stone chips on the bonnet rectified.

I just put in a monster order with Brotek. And purchased an RNSE. And dropped my car off at the bodyshop to have the front bumper resprayed, rear bumper resprayed, and a small scuff on the arch repaired. Love love love payday.

Forge intercoolers generally are small, they are all designed for an unnoticible fitment so are usually stick thin. Good work, A+ in man math.

So last night I did a basic correction and protection on the A3; I woke up at 6 this morning and the sky was clear and it was set to be a spot on day. So I got the rotary out, donned my harshest wax striping foam and set about getting a better finish on the A3. I cut the paint work even further, as much as I could safely go without a paint gauge, and refined it further still with black hole. There are no pictures of this actually happening, because I wasn't sure if it was going to rain and time wasting wasn't an option. So the car was re-cut, and then re-cleansed with Dr Beasleys, further refined with a tiny amount Black Hole and a buffing pad, then given three coats of wax with the final coat being finger applied. NOW I'm happy with it. I re-addressed the interior plastics, I wasn't happy with the finish of the Megs trim protector. So I went over it with Nanolex. Sorry for boring you all. - Sam, I couldn't say no to this. The price was ridiculous.

It's a 140 S-Line. I don't THINK they did 170 in 2006, don't quote me though I might be totally wrong but I thought that came out in 2008. Boring post is coming up...Sorry guys.

I don't need, or want a diesel. I guess I just ended up with this one due to very fortunate circumstances.

Probably. But I like it
