  1. Guess so. I've been training at Prodrive all week, I am going shooting with Prawn tomorrow then I fly to Oslo to rally for four days on Saturday night. So I can't really do much replying for a while. Maybe on the flight to Oslo.
  2. Das 6 pro, and some Menzerna PF2500.
  3. Looks like the changeable ends for one of those f**kable flash lights. If you ask me.
  4. Fiesta, they are amazing. Thanks Luke, I lolled.
  5. Scrap it, buy a car that hasn't been off the road for years. There is a reason people park cars up. Sorry for sounding like a fanny.
  6. Just wondered how you were getting on with it, I have been looking about at cars and an S14 falls in my budget. I have always liked the look of them, and I have seen some great track builds and time attack builds. So I just wanted to know a bit more about them, from somebody who has had one but won't be overly biased about them. Basically what I want is a 3/4000 car, that will go well, handle well, easy to get bits for and work on and will be reasonable to drive daily. It has to be reliable, which I know is very car specific. But generally I believe the SR to be a good engine, but things like turbos are the weak link? How true is that? I know it is a bit of a pointless exercise because I probably won't buy one, but I would still like to know if you have the time
  7. The calipers are all the same Luke, it's just the carriers that change. Cheap and easy to post. Xxx
  8. They do fit under 16's with no issues. Luke bought a full LCR front sub frame, Brembos, hubs, the lot.
  9. Who is it on here who bought an S14 recently? Was it Bucky?
  10. My old scirocco was floaty as f**k, totally all over the place. The steering was so light I thought it had PAS haha.
  11. And gay. If it is money you are inheriting or being given as a gift, why not buy something meaningful. To me, blowing it on a poor excuse for a sports car seems mighty irresponsible and a bit short sighted. If you got a Mk1 MR2 you could potentially argue it is a classic and it will go up in value as an investment, if you kept it mint. Have you driven one yet?
  12. You change the way you drive. And with a turbo engine, they are actually pretty good. I always loved the mechanical feel of a prefacelift AGU engine in older 1.8t's, but once you get used to a properly calibrated DBW throttle it's not that bad. On a turbo car you just press the pedal and wait for the power, them bleed throttle position off until you have the desired acceleration haha. - Went to wash the car half an hour ago, as I pulled out of the station some douche nozzle in a turbo MX5 was diffing around the roundabout I needed to get on. Rather than just go around once, he went round like three times with traffic waiting on every entrance to see what he was up to and waiting until it was safe. I had enough at this point so I just pulled out on him. He abruptly turned off to follow me after rescuing his terrible slide, then after flashing me the whole way down the dual carriageway was unfortunate to pull up next to me at a set of lights. So I asked him if he was having fun on the roundabout, and he and his mate shouted "yeah what's it to you?" So I pulled my wallet out which has a Costco card in the front of it which looks a bit like a Police identity card. I flashed it at him and said "5-0 buddy, expect a notice in the post. Shame I'm off duty at the moment, but I will let someone else deal with the paperwork." His face was worth at least £70, he looked like he was about to cry. He said sorry and drove off. Mega lols.
  13. As you know Danny, I've had more SAABS than your ex missus has had mental break downs. They have a reasonable pace, and convenient gearing. In high output trim. Not a touch on a C900 though, or many other cars for that matter. In the 2.0 turbo charged bracket they really aren't THAT special.
  14. I lolled. More importantly, I can't quite imagine Donkey Kong driving a five door Saab...
  15. And will probably give you more grip on Tarmac...
  16. No. You just point your phone at it, click buttons until it changes channel then when it does you click save.
  17. To be fair, I got it as a reward from Fiat for having the highest customer satisfaction index score in my region. So it's not like it was a freebie, I worked hard for it.
  18. So I have just won a competition to spend three days in Oslo having ice racing tuition in a Porsche 964. Going on the 25th. Excited much.
