It was January, car sales was slow. I even took pictures of everything.

I found with squeezing the tea bag it tastes harsher, I assumed it was because of the tea-ness being rushed.

Tea. I have actually spent an entire morning timing tea. And trying different tea bags. Yorkshire tea, water in for 40 seconds. Don't touch it. Tea bag out, strained. Add milk to get the colour/strength you want. Add sugar. Perfect every time.

That's all well and good, but lots of people don't have the experience or confidence to even get a woman to treat badly in the first place. -

I agree with the above. So things are rolling along well with me, we have had numerous light hearted chats and things have progressed to a place that we are both happy with. Sunday was the pinnacle of this, she went out Saturday night and want me a drunken text saying "I was worried that I didn't really want whatever is going on with us, but having been drinking since 2PM I can safely say that even now when my brain can hardly function I am still thinking of you. So that's good." Which was a kind of nice text to wake up to, taking the standard uncomitting woman talk out of it. So Sunday morning I went round to hers to make her breakfast, she was feeling a bit sorry for herself but the weather was glorious. We spent the day shuffling around the garden chasing the sun whilst she did her marking, then we had an afternoon snooze in the garden and went for a walk around the village. The woman who rents a room off her was winding us up by saying how I am a great boyfriend etc etc. I'm secretly thankful of that, because it's much better to gauge it when somebody else just makes the assumption and says it for you. I took the pair of them out for dinner, then we watched some TV and played Jenga and things in the garden. A good day. Monday night I don't normally go round to see her because I work a 14 hour day on Tuesdays, but I wanted carbonara for dinner so I set it up. Turned up on Monday night and she was having a swim in the pool, so I jokingly said "well aren't you a shocking wife! I've been at work all day looking forward to your lovely carbonara and I get here and there's no dinner and you're in the bloody pool!" I went upstairs to have a shower and came down twenty minutes later and she had done probably the nicest thing anyone has done for me ever. I REALLY love this little Italian down the road from her, it's my favourite place at the moment. She had paid for one of their chefs to cook us both a really nice dinner in her kitchen, with champagne, proper three courses etc. So we sat in the conservatory and had a nice half romantic dinner together and it was all really good. Then she hit me with a bit of a bomb shell. She is a higher level teacher doing a degree to become an academy head teacher. As part of her work she has to teach in a foreign country to gain experience. Her house mate is Irish, so she is going to Ireland to teach for 4 weeks, then she comes back for 6 weeks and her contract finishes so she is going to Australia for 6 weeks. Which is a bit of an annoyance for me. I was a bit sad about this, but over all happy for her advancement and for her to be going to have some fun and discover the world. She has asked me if I will move into her house for a few months whilst she is away, which I guess shows trust and commitment. I am trying not to read too much into it because I always knew she travels all over the world and is always off somewhere exciting. And she did tell me always from day one that she was going to Australia for a few months, but the Irish trip was a bit of a shock. So yeah, a bit miffed. I guess I can't be too annoyed, I did leave her for another woman and move to Plymouth for 4 years without even talking to her. -
That's basically 200bhp. Also, this morning I got over taken by an RS5 being chased by a C63 AMG Black as I was going out of Sunningdale. I had to pull over and relieve myself.

How hard is to get your own apartments in UK?
Pashley26 replied to CriminalRider's topic in Chit Chat
I find the UK to be a great place to live with good prospects, tools to establish yourself and jobs openly available for able and willing people with a good work ethic and professional outlook. As such I have never found renting a house difficult, (I have rented since I was 17, 23 now) and it is certainly one of the most rewarding and educational things you could possibly do as a younger person. Sooner you learn to live by yourself, the sooner you have to provide for yourself and the sooner you grab work by the balls and get hungry. -
It doesn't work on mobile devices I think. It's 20 complete strangers brig put in a studio and asked to kiss, it's funny seeing the awkwardness of it but interesting to relate to the situations.

This is quite bizarre to watch. You WANT to watch it, but you don't know why.

f**k yeah bro's!!!!! Had a bit of a chat last night over a few bottles of wine, I told her that I did want it and she knows I do. She also knows that I have always compared all women to her, and that it's something I had wanted for a LONG time. But it wasn't her show, because quite frankly I am really happy with my life at the moment, so if she wanted to move things forward she had to be the one to convince me. Sounds like a whole load of pressure to put on someone, but after what has happened over the years with us I wasn't letting my guard down when it came to moving things forward. And to be honest I don't want to be her bitch, I just want what we have now exclusively because it is good and very stress free. The whole "friends with benefits" stalemate only leads one of two ways, either a relationship or the end of a friendship. She was the one to make the move, so I guess I just had to tell her the terms. Woke up this morning, she rolled over and gave me a cuddle and said "Basically I have slept on it, and I want to be with you still. But I don't want a big fuss over it and I don't want anything to change from how it is now. You going away for a couple of years has let us both grow up a bit and I think we are finally on the same level. So I guess I agree to your terms, where is my contract?" I said "sounds good to me, I'll draft up an agreement, do you want tea or juice with your breakfast?" Boom. Well happy about it all, feels like I have achieved something I have wanted for a very very long time. -
The market has really tightened up though, and manufacturers are sourcing parts from well known companies rather than making their own/sub sourcing shit. MX5 has Bilsteins and eibach roll bars as standard. Megane has Brembos, Sachs dampers etc. Fiats and Abarths have Koni FSD shocks as standard. So in short, I think that manufacturers are spending money in the right places where they can do research and develop, and out sourcing key components where they don't need to. All for the better if you ask me.

There was aubergine in there to be fair, and like bread crumbs on top which had gone all crusty and yummy. She is a f**king well good cook. I think she was just having a good night and then thought if I wanted to come round I could have made it nicer. I work really late, I don't finish until 8 most days if I am lucky so she knew I would still be at work, hadn't eaten and would quite like a nice evening with her. I wouldn't read into the ifs and whys of her asking me to come over last night, she is perfectly mentally stable and very normal. And to be fair I probably spend 3/4 nights a week at hers anyway so it was kind of to be expected. -

Question is, do I just roll with it or do I say no. I will probably regret it forever if I don't give it a go. -

Haha. This thread is amazing at the moment. Last night my mystery woman text me, she has been away for a few days so I hadn't spoken to her for three days, pretty standard. Half 7 last night I get a text, "I have just made some broccoli, asparagus and pancetta canaloni. Come get some." What a winner? Rocked up to hers, she buzzed the gates and turned the drive lights on from inside so she must have been watching for me. Knocked the door, straight there with a cuddle and a glass of wine for me. All VERY unlike her 90% of the time. Walked through to the kitchen thinking we were alone and all of her teacher friends were there eating dinner. They all knew my name and everything about me, "oh she won't stop talking about you so we had to meet you to see what it's all about." Then two people come in from the study, and boom..."Oh Naz and Sian, this is my boyfriend, sorry you missed the introduction." Dafuq. So immediately I dragged her to the kitchen and told her I am not her boyfriend and that we should talk about it together some other time. Stayed the night, ruined her, she made me breakfast and all is back to normal. So I guess it's offish'. -
We say that, but Alex did get rinsed by a standard Megane 265. Xxx (Good luck bro!)
