The launch control you have is soft cut, it's the factory limit moved down.

I see minor don't care about my paintwork any more than wiping it over with a cloth then spraying "bullshit" spray all over it. I know, it's all very odd.

It makes the windscreen look all funny. And don't get me started on paint sealants...haha

People go mad for a brand called G Techniq. I don't though, I think it leaves a very artificial two dimensional finish.

Unhappy with just one update, today I give you two for Tuesday. DOUBLE DIP UPDATES RAWWWWWWW! I came saw and conquered with the cleaning BS. So I went back for more. Polishing the bodywork and sealing it with Zaino Z8. Next up in the non-stop action packed build thread of champions, I stripped these poorly paints champions of chav out of my engine bay. POW. SAYYYY WHAAAA?! Next level engine stripping, I'm basically Ed China now I've changed an alternstor. Paint. Applied. Paint. Applied. (In situ like a BOOOOSS) But what am I going to do whilst it dries?! Twiddle my thumbs? OHHHHHHH HELLL NO! I'm gonna machine polish my head lamps, just like so. Then I'm gone slap that back together like yo momma! HADOUKEN FOOL.

It's atrocious isn't it Danny? Truly shocking. I was planning on satin blacking the whole lot, strut bar, all the securing hardware etc can only cost <£15 in bolts and paint. The off white filter is only there because it's £9 and available at pretty much every motor factors Leaky engines are the best, self rust proofing and self lubricating

I've had a very grumpy week. I've been signed off work, told I can't drive, generally very very ill. Having replaced the alternator last Thursday (the day I came down with death) I have not be able to drive let alone even start the S. This makes me sad. Today I topped myself with drugs and ventured out to the S to tinker. I decided the engine bay being really untidy was annoying me, so I got my little steamer out, sprayed everything down with degreaser, went at it with a light brush and then steamed it all off. Happy with that. Now that George has annoyed me about it I've got another thing to change. Checked her levels, topped up a couple of bits and fired her up. She sounded so happy. http://youtu.be/uhZhLTl-CXI Gave her a couple of minutes to warm up and she was back to her beautiful clattery self. http://youtu.be/zp4YaK7jzMA Aaaah. Bad news regarding my seats. Basically they aren't very good. I bought some knock off Recaro Pole Position seats from eBay, and the quality just isn't there. They were shipped from Athens so I can't return them, so I'll just try and sell them cheap on a forum to somebody I don't know. Which has left me not wanting to be bitten again, so there's a few new options for me to look st in time for Donny. Cleaning the engine bay aggravated me, so I ordered a few new silicone pipes, brake vac line kit, new jubilees and clips, second hand battery box which will clean the bay up no end. So I am happy with that. And my spacers have been dispatched. Good girl.

Fine Ads. Not really many pictures of her about, there's about 10 on Facebook and none of them are hugely flattering. - I can't put into words how much I don't think she has any intention of doing the dirty whilst she's away. She knows that, I know that. It's not even on the radar. But it's been one of the incredibly annoying things ALL of my mates have said, they've all assumed we're "on a break" and I'm going to be on the pull every night whilst she's gone. And vise versa. Besides, I was with her then I split up with her for 5 years and always regretted what I had done and then came back. Waiting 4 months isn't going to kill me. - She's going to Bangkok Tony, it's the first place she's travelling to on the 13th when she gets up there. Any suggestions or recommendations I can give her? -

Shoe on the other foot. Actually, that doesn't work with you does it Dan. Everybody here put themselves in a position where their partner says they're going travelling (at the time of discussing it was for a full year) and you can't come. And you ask them why, and they say it's because they want to meet new people. Bazinga. -

Whaaa'? I'm not paranoid about anything, but I do think she's being a bit wasteful by going travelling. -

I'm not making issues out of annnnnything, especially not in her eyes. In her eyes I'm over the moon that she's going travelling and just want her to have an amazing time. But everybody who knows me knows I would like nothing more than for her to come home. Which whilst selfish is an understandable feeling. -

You think to much. My stepdad already calls me umbungo because he thinks I need to get used to what she's going to call me in bed. #parentsarehilarious. -

(She's not even in Thailand yet, she's currently in Melaka in Malaysia) It'll be what it will be. She has managed to get about 200 pictures up on Dropbox, and the places she is going look fantastic. Apparently she's having quite a few problems because lots of places won't let you in if you don't have your knees covered? So she's having to buy huge body drapes. -

She won't send me pictures of her boobs I saw them for about half a second on FaceTime but only because she was getting ready to go out. -

I've been to Thailand. I went diving. It was fun, I came home, put the picture on my bedside table and when people talk about Thailand I can say "yeah I went to Thailand, it was pretty cool." But when I got there I checked into my hotel, used it as a base and visited loads of different places over two weeks. I didn't just turn up with a backpack and wing it without even having a phone. That's my point which you've missed. She is saying she wants to just wing it day to day. But I just cannot understand at all how anybody can feel comfortable in a foreign country not having a clue where they are going to sleep that night. -

You say "the only thing keeping you in the UK" like there's something wrong with it? I just don't get it -

But you can do that in the UK, and if you're good at your job you can save up and set up a business. Surely there's nothing that Asia can offer you (other than selfies and sideways vaginas) that the UK couldn't have done? -

I never said there wasn't. And I assure you, it's not what I want. I think you've missed the point in your rush to try and convince me that my girlfriends going to fall into a state of enlightenment whilst travelling. I can't be convinced by the way. I can't understand how she hasn't planned anything, as well as why go travelling in the first place? Why do people even do it? Every answer I get is because they're running away or can't deal with responsibility. -

I'm more concerned that she's going to want to move back and "settle down" than I am about her "thinking in new ways." Because the latter just wouldn't happen. She's already agreed to start as Deputy Head at a new school in the UK in March, so yeah my worries are what's she going to be wanting from me next. So your reasons for wanting to go travelling were for an escape, so you could just go and be free for a bit. But why would you do it if you were happy with everything? You live with your boyfriend in a monstrous house with a swimming pool, have the job you've worked 6 years teacher training for, got everything set up and it's all going well. Why would just jack in your job, sell your house move back in with your psychotic mother for four months and send your boyfriend packing off back to his parents, and basically risk what you've got and what you've worked for so you can live out of a backpack in Asia for 4 months? If she said "f**k it, I'm moving to Thailand/Australis/whatever" then fair enough. But to just go travelling for 4 months? It took us two months to pack up the house FFS! -

That's exactly it. I don't do it, I don't want to do it, I wouldn't do it and I don't understand why anybody would do it. I don't book package holidays and things because they are a bit dull. But I just find it odd that she's flown to Kuala Lumpur, booked a flight from Thailand to Australia and THE ONLY thing she has booked or planned is New Years in Sydney they have booked a hotel. It just seems odd.
