  1. FWIW, I had the S3 on P Zero Rosso's for the first months I had it. They were very good.
  2. Wow. Between writing earlier, and writing now some serious shit has happened. My boss, (who's job is the one I really want) has been in Tenerife for the past two weeks on holiday. He's a bit of a party boy. He collapsed in a club on Sunday morning, and has been in hospital for two days and was signed off to fly home. On the flight home he passed out, nobody realised and they had to get him off the plane on a stretcher. He's having a blood transfusion tomorrow morning because he has absolutely no iron in his blood. He'll be off work for months. Whilst his health is my biggest concern, we've got a really f**king big target to meet this year with Fiat. And in his absence I have done a shit hot job of running the place over the past two weeks and we're three away from target. We'll happily replenish our demonstration stock to hit that, but if we can retail out of it then even better. My area manager and I have a meeting in Christchurch tomorrow morning which he only told me about at 5PM at the same time he told me the news. Which probably means I'll get a step up the ladder, even if it is only temporary. It's almost like fate is with us today, what with the news above.
  3. What Luke said. Not to blow my own trumpet, or any BS like that but if I was for any reason fired or left my dealership it would take months for Fiat to get back up and running and hitting target again. Which would cost tens of thousands and f**k up the whole year. Not because I do anything clever or different to anyone else or because I'm just bloody great, but because the systems are so difficult and time consuming to operate and all the little issues with the job have been ironed out by me to a point that nobody knows how do them. Footfall reports, area sales leakage, SSI bonus, financial clawback rates, target margin and over achievement stocking, unit ordering, AFRL achievement, even down to the basics of what cars we physically have in stock, by being over efficient I seem to have inherited far too much individual responsibility for the daily running of the dealership blah blah blah all these things which would usually be done by a team of administrators but are things I do because I feel like I need control to do my job properly and to not have things going wrong. Flip side of that. I am a victim of my own success. I've completed my general sales manager scheme and could apply for internal promotions as a general sales manager, but the company are reluctant to promote me past a brand management role because they know that both jobs would be done half arsed for a 6 month transition period whilst a replacement came in and my responsibilities were redistributed and I stepped up and learned my new role. f**king BS really, I've dipped out on two promotions for that reason.
  4. Two days until girlfriend flys home. Dust seems to have settled about the living together things. Woo.
  5. It's different things for different customers. Some people come in with no preconceived idea about what they're expecting from a car salesman, and those people always give 10/10 on the customer feedback reports and generally get the best deals because you just chat to them about the car and tell them what it costs then ask for a close. But when you get the nobheads come in who think that all salesmen are the same and that we're just robots who spout shit out to line our pockets they're just difficult to get on with compared to decent "people people" as I call them. They just require more work.
  6. I do silent close a lot, but usually with a payment alternative when I've got a customer who wants to buy, but doesn't know what to do. As in; "So you could have £200 a month over 36 months. Of £150 over 48 months. Which do you want to go for? [sTFU]"
  7. I didn't realise people thought I would actually say that. It was SUPPOSED to be smarmy sales bollocks...
  8. I'm not sure if you are aware of what I do for a living? Haha.
  9. You are welcome at mine whenever you want Robin, I'm only 45 mins up the road from Prawn and have plenty of parking and bed space.
  10. "You see that cup of tea in your hand? Well a lot of office furniture suppliers would try to sell you an expensive surface protection system with their furniture to protect from the liquid stains which harm the resale value if your furniture and tarnish the professional appearance of your establishment. These protective coatings usually cost hundreds on pounds and fade over years of usage. For just £1.99 and a bit of common sense I can offer you a product which will protect your furniture for a lifetime with no maintenance or reapplication. If a desk has a serviceable life of 10 years my solution costs less than a tenth of a penny per day. I also offer bulk packs for 25 or more units, So how many shall I order for you? 1 or 25? *let silence sell for you.*"
  11. Didn't even mention it. She knows I'm not happy about it, so it is up to her what she does about it.
  12. Talking to her today and everything is fine and perfect... Sometimes I wonder if my interpretation of things is the biggest problem?
  13. I'd have loved to have seen it happen, however it's the run up to the number plate change and then followed by the plate change in March.
  14. Not going on any of those dates. Sorry kiddo's.
  15. I love my sofa's, they're huge and so comfortable. They've been in the family for 11 years now. I'm just going to stay here Luke regardless of what goes on, it's getting to be nice now so it would be stupid not to stay here as long as I can. I'll be happy to get it all tied up and finished, I have spent the morning cleaning top to bottom and I've only just managed to get sat down and relaxing and it's starting to feel quite homely. I've got to clean up out the front of the house this afternoon. Bonus content.
  16. House stuff is really moving on at a fair rate now. Before. After. (sorry it's a shocking photo.) Befizzle. Aftinssle. Prior. Post. In it's previous state. Current. Some during pictures/general. So far... I've fitted new window locks, painted the entire house in brilliant white and stripped off all the wall paper, new kitchen, tiled the kitchen (still need to grout and do a few edges), glossed everything other than the door frames and the stairs (hardest job), shampoo'd the carpets, had an electrician in to re-wire the kitchen, replumbed the kitchen and the shower. Still to do, clear up...New flooring in the bathrooms and kitchen, grout the kitchen, gloss the last few bits, new taps in the bathroom and fit new light switches. Oh and fit my pop up power points in the kitchen. Fookin knackered.
  17. This was entirely my plan anyway, I was only using the TF Agony Aunt as a sounding wall to rant about something annoying.
  18. My post was simply that she doesn't want to live with me when she gets back because she wants to go traveling again in the summer and I don't think it's very fair. She doesn't want to split up with me. She hasn't cheated on me. I can't help that you guys have over active imaginations.
  19. You guys are such drama. It's hilarious. She's home on Friday, quit your bitching on about breaking up with her haha! She's just having a few jitters about returning to normality. If she has been unable to mind f**k me whilst she has been in Oz you guys certainly won't be able to. You've got to go into something like this with trust, if you can't trust someone you can't understand the feeling of trusting someone who is on the other side of the world. I think you guys have totally missed the point, because you are too busy trying to predict doom and gloom for me. She doesn't mince about, and she doesn't waste time. If she didn't want to be with me, she would have said so and gone off and had all the cock she wanted. And if she had felt for a moment that being tied to me whilst she was traveling then she would have said and done something about it a long time ago. You know she's nearly 30 right? We're not talking some 19 year old bimbo who doesn't know that she has a voice. You guys are so quick to judge and comment, but really you haven't got a scooby about my circumstances or hers.
  20. Probably says more about you and others than it does about me though. I absolutely know, 100% she hasn't and wouldn't mess about. We're talking about somebody I've known and been friends with for almost half of my life, she's not just some bint I've bumped into and hardly know. It's just a TF thing, somebody says something and the instant reaction is to tell the person they're being cheated on and they should probably kill themselves because it's obviously worst case scenario. It isn't remotely helpful to anybody, but it at least gives you guys something to talk about.
  21. Highly unlikely and not a thought that has crossed my mind, but somebody had to say it.
