Basically yes. I'm well up for attendance, but I can't confirm a drive until I know if I am buying this VR6. Keep my name up for now, I'm confident I am going to buy this VR6 is the figures work out well enough and it's what I'm told it is. Doubt I will be going flat out though, we all know that any man who goes home in one piece with no big bills is the real winner at any Motorsport based event.

I'm sure I will be able to make it in one way or another, I might even have a car that's actually enjoyable to drive above 40mph by then. No promises though. Last time there was a Trials Forum car event I wrote my car off the day before to get out of it, I hope the same doesn't happen this time.

I take it I've basically been peer pressured into at worst taking the Panda then... Brilliant.

That's not a problem. Still be worth coming to take the piss out of you lot and laugh at whoever crashes. I could do with a hair cut as well.

Soooo, I'm off work on the 5th of March now.

Going to look at the VR6 on Thursday. Booya.

This has been talking to me on eBay for the past week. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1990-VOLKSWAGEN-GOLF-GTI-MK2-VR6-GREEN-/321660877933? It just looks really clean, and I think with a decent set of wheels, raised up a little bit and with a 4 light front end it could be a really nice car. Just been chatting with my mate Ben, because I only just noticed the Parsons Performance stickers in the rear window. Which is him. Turns out he knows the car a bit, the guy who owns it is a VW nut, also owns a Rallye, middle aged bloke who looks after his cars really really well. I've just asked him if I can go and have a look on Tuesday next week. And I'm hopefully off to see the G60 on Thursday, but the guys gone a bit quiet since I offered him 5K cash...

No it isn't. It shows the health of the engine based on the INHG or draw under load. It's a handy tool on an older car for making sure everything is running well. They used to call them economaters.

That's because most don't have them, I just assumed they weren't worth mentioning. Have I become even more miserable lately?

I would die before you ever got my name on the log book of an MG TF. Two shit subframes bolted to a flexible tub by a company that were more concerned about tea breaks than the finished product. Avoid in a plague like fashion.

I just like wiping cats bums really. We all know I'm incredibly extrovert, like odd things, have odd habits and enjoy a cuddle. So why not get a cat that's the same. I like odd/rare/unique breeds so it's ticked that box, because they rely on you to groom them and a lot of the time for heat they become really attached to their owners and follow you around nigh on everywhere which ticks another box, and they're different. So I like them. And he's soooo cute.

Fit yes. Actually fit. No. The leon has a very large rear pipe, the Mk4 doesn't.
-
Yep. It's one of the things I like about them.

Strongly considering an Edition One G60 Mk2. There is an immaculate one local to me, it's always going to be worth what I pay for it. I can't see much reason not to?
-
Yeah. I've never got that either.

I would have lived a rescue kitten, but trying to find a Sphynx as a rescue is like trying to find a needle in a hay stack. I'm not sure that the self satisfaction of re-homing a rescue kitten would last as long as falling for exactly the breed you want as a kitten and having it with you for all it's life. I felt as though I SHOULD have got a rescue kitten and rehomed it, but also felt like I wouldn't be as into it as I will be Spartacus. It was a serious juggle between rehomimg or not though.

You don't have to clean fur up, but you do need to bath them two or three times a month, wipe them down the with baby wipe every couple of days, keep the sharp of their claws trimmed incredibly short, wash their ears out weekly, wipe poo off their tails etc etc etc. They are a lot more upkeep than a normal cat because they don't clean themselves as such, their skin gives off an oil which cleans them, but also leaves yellow marks everywhere if you don't wash it off. So they basically rely on you to do all their grooming. A kitten from a reputable breeder, with TICA approved health checks, certificated purebred status and registration documents, both vaccinations, microchip, registration, no bollocks and all that will set you back between £1000 and £2000. Your mates girlfriends mum down the road who's had a litter of healthy kittens and has advertised them on Guntree/the local paper will be anywhere from £300-£700. They are a normal cat yes, but you can't buy one thinking it is going to be the same level of responsibility as a plain old cat. Nothing wrong with normal cats, they're awesome. But my parents have had Persian cats for the last 14 years, and one of these already seems like more upkeep and hassle. I've had to buy myself the specific food, the appropriate moisturiser, baby shampoo, baby wipes, an anti static mitten to get all the fluff and shit off the floor off it, special nail clippers, ear spray, a heat mat for its bed, more toys and cat paraphernalia than normal because it can't go outside, jumpers for it (which you have to have) blah blah blah.

*and left to rot away for two months then reanimated.

Bless him. Not everyone's cup of tea in the looks department, but nobody can not love a kitten. Even one that looks as evil as Spartacus!

I've already got him a hoodie. He is amazing, such a little terror but so affectionate with it.
