GET THIS ! Me and four of my mates were were "hanging" in the park, i was on my bike and the other 3 were in goth gear...... we wern't getting stoned/drunk/being loud........ 9 ROZZERS !!! came running into the park and told up we had to leave !!! i said in my best english voice "on what grounds do we have to leave ? this is a public park ?" and the fattest one said to me...."i've seen you before, your one of those TRAIL(what a joke) riders" so i said "yes i am one of those TRIALS riders, but i'm not riding at the moment i'm listening to music and talking about exams with my mates...." and he goes "YES, Very likely.....Are you going to leave or not...." and my mate dan said "well i'm not leaving until i've done something wrong" and we all agreed......the the coppa pulled out his cuffs and said "thats enough of the lip from you, your coming with me" and i said "no he's not, you've go no reason to nick' him !" and he put me on the floor and cuffed me ! i was creaming at him "GIVE ME MY FU##ING BIKE !" went skitzo.......... Got a warning and my mate got a warning too ! So basicly i got nicked becouse i had a trials bike ! My bike got a scratch on the top tube and my chains full up with dirt from when i got put on the floor ! What a joke................. I don't expect reply's or anything, just wanted a rant........... I would deffinatly go ALL OUT with the file/emerycloth, if you think you'll get bored and stop half way through (as we all do ) get a polishing bit for a drill and an ali cutting compound and just blitz it !!!!!! putting on "max wax" or some other type of car paint protector will help it last long. T CUT ! That works AMAZINGLY on everything shiny ! Jarrod

It looks alot better now it hasn't got stickers. it might be a few days before i sort out the camera but i'll get a pic then. someone seems to have stolen my grips too.........? lol it's till got my old "built in gears" front brake lever too !!!! HAHAHAHAHA

Becouse the cameras not working either It's not got all the stickas on it anymore..........there so kool though, i fell bad when i drop it They don't need fancy components to look good though do they ? but 've seen a few that looked HORRIABLE ! lol Thanks for the comments ! Jarrod

I Havn't ridden comps and i don't really want to ? i've only been riding trials for about a year and a half, but i've had a trials bike for ages. It's not that i don't want a good bike or anything, it's just that i have always wanted a 20" bike and i've got a new job wich will give me enough money to buy one. I don't like to be like anyone else and really wanted something a bit different. As for the "random stupid questions" becouse i've always ridden 26" bikes and all my mates have 26" bikes so this is the only place i can ask about 20" bikes. i knew some people would get annoyed with the 1 so i posted it in chit chat and a moderator moved it here for some reason. They were on there from when i just threw the bike together when i first baught it so i could sit on it and roll down the hill lol ! (hence no chain, front brake and stupid bars !) they do look like there bent down though don't they ???? It's got echo's now:D Jarrod

Thanks ! thats been alot of help ! now that you've said that i don't think i will buy the koxx. i'm always riding street and bashing my frame around, and at 500 odd quid a frame i can't really afford to have a cracked frame. What about the Zoo! python ? is that a prety tough frame........May seem like a stupid question but i've always rode with/on 26" bikes ! Jarrod

I too had a wheel "stolen" from ebay. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/fixed-6-spd-drilled-...1QQcmdZViewItem The bloke gave false details and ebay wouldn't do anything about it. paypal on the other hand were very helpfull and closed his account and gave us a phone number wich worked. rang him up and he told us he had posted it several times recorded delivery. i asked him for proof of postage (photo of the Po reciept, second half of the delivery slip ?) and he couldn't/wouldn't produce anything. made a complaint with pay pal and becouse he didn't respond to there 20 day complaint thingy i got the money back, but i'm yet to recieve the money from paypal ! Bottom line is go through paypal ! Jarrod

Well said that man ! i didn't really want to get a monster boy becouse alot of people are telling me to get one. and alot of people have suggested a zona zip so i didnt really want to get one of them either, and that looks prety nice in my opinion ? the frames about 600 i think ? so 600 quid to buy 600 quid to build dosen't seem toooooooooo bad ? i could just get a ZOO! python and make it not green lol ! Ok, this is my pashley ! it consists of ! (old pic will take a new one when i get my new wheel) It's nothing AMAZING at the moment but it's a rideable bike ? and it's old skool' kool ! 26mhz frame dmr seat of unknown design echo tough bar fsa stem hs33 on the back v on the front fatty r forks cant remember what front wheel it is, believe it's a shimano xtr hope xc rear hub in a onza ronnie rim on the way (courtsey of krisboats) fsa power pro crank (made of spagetti) v8 pedals gusset single speed kit think thats it ! Hi, thaught i'd post this on here cos' it's not a MASSIVE question http://www.tartybikes.co.uk/product.php?id=2175 Does anyone like the look of that frame ? i've been looking at getting a 20" for the last few weeks and i put up a post on what one the best was......realising it's all down to personal prefrence it was a bit of a stupid thread ! so i thaught i'd just ask this q rather than bump my old one up. Thanks for sharing the shame, i know what you mean ! i've always slagged the hell outa monty's for ages cos' of the bend in the frame....but now i'm looking at getting one.......you' know ? the one with two discs on the front lol Jarrod

Looking at the zona the frame seems really short (wich i like ) can i buy the zona as a full bike ? and where the hell can i get one !

Been looking on the web, don't like the look of the monty. it's got that funny bend in it lol, can you buy the zona as a full bike or is it a frame only thing ? Are the zoo pythons any good ? i know craig lee scott uses one and he's AMAZING, but the zoo dosen't have a bash and i'm forever wishing i had a bashplate ? But your saying that the monty the zona and the zoo are the pick of the bunch ?

I'm saving up to get a 20 inch bike....i really like the zoo python but i wanted to know what you lot thaught ? i'm 6 foot 2 and 13 stone....i'll have 1400 quid to spend wich i know is a hell of alot to spend on a 20" trials bike ! but i want to buy one bike and keep it a long time, like my pashley. it'll be 2 months before I buy it. and talking about it and being able to look at what i want to get will stop me spending it all ! ! ! ! !
