  1. Someone nicked a bike off one of my work mates when i was at cycleworks....Just walked in and then walked out with his bike ! Obviously with a small shop full of peole you just can't tell ! Seeing as we worked in a bike shop this was no halfords shit ! A full Carbon S-works Tarmac with FULL Ultegra Levers Cassette and a Carbon Noir crank with over £1000 worth of wheels....I dosen't take einestein to know how much this bike was worth !!!!! Oh and it was a genuine Raceframe, becouse specialized scratched his Frame when they sent it back to have it ultra sound checked for cracks and gave him a new frame, but had sold out of 07 stock.... The police were no help and told him that effectivly it was his fault as the shop didn't have cover for staff bikes and it was essentially in a "public" place.....and told him to "Sort It" So he found the bike in the free ads and went round there and "Sorted it out" Then got sent to court for gbh and the bike thief got HIS bike back becouse he worked for halfords and printed a reciept off to say he had baught it ! Whadda load of Bolloks ! A bit of a rant i know, sorry i bored you guys but the morral of the story is........ The thing to do is to be fooking vigilant about people on and around your bike ? I won't ride my bike in town becouse i KNOW i wont come home with it.... And we all know Insurance isn't worth the paper it's written on !!! Unlucky mate i know EXACTLY how you feel ! Jrrod
  2. What a lovely frame.... Jarrod
  3. I've got quite a few piercings, i've got a 28mm plug in my straight ear...a 12 in my gay ear, i pierced my eyebrow myself with a needle then my dad ripped it out when i was 14 ! Never worn them all at once becouse i'd look like a freak but i'm very happy with all of them. At first i was worried about what people would think of me when i went out but i GENUINLY believe it's given me alot more confidence. The only Pic i can find is an age old pic of my ear and brow.....
  4. Is that a 71 charger ? or a 69 ? can't really tell from the pic ! I want my car ! I love it.... Jarrod Is that a 71 charger ? or a 69 ? can't really tell from the pic ! I want my car ! I love it.... Jarrod

  7. The Pashley is staying right where it is, until i find a house big enough for me to put in in the livingroom But everything has a price !!! And Everything for sale !!!! I can't really ride anymore (no cartialige in my right knee) so i just blast round town on it now I really wanna ride again ! Yeah, thats cycleworks ! My old shop When i first started there the pashey had a piece of washing line for a front brake cable and maskingtape for a headset !!! Awesome guy's in there ! Especially Matt and Aaron, if you do go there say hello to them for Jarrod. It'd mean alot to me and them to know i'm alright ! Jarrod
  8. Hey guys, i would LOVE to ride but i don't live in G-ford any more !!!! But i can tell you where there's some nice spots ? The Benches down the river are always nice spots to start a ride on....The slide up barriers in the car park by the cinema are fun ! Obviously the sports center, the college car park, the front of college, the rails on the underpass by pedalpushers and if you EVER want packing crates to practice on or your bikes fixed cheap and quickly ask the guys in cycle works, tell them Jarrod sent you ! Have fun guys ! Jarrod
  9. I was getting worried that all the clever people had gone to BMX forum. WELL SAID !!! Or we could just say were not going to the gig and forget the topic. Or had we forgot what this topic was about ? Jarrod
  10. B.E.A.U this post is directed specificly at you. Shut the f**k up ! If you used your brain you would realise how f**kING stupid you look. You have made yourself to look like such a twat. So f**king what if Danny's a chav ? Jarrod
  11. The accepted etymology for "chav" is that it derives from the Romani word "chavi", meaning a child.[4] Related words derived from the same source include "charva" meaning prostitute (used in north-east England in a similar sense). In modern Spanish "chaval" or "chavo" means "lad" (eg: El Chavo, a Mexican television comedy whose principal character is a street orphan).[5] And what ? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chav Straight out of Wikipedia. I do agree with what you are saying though guys, i hate what you describe as a "Chav" But i don't agree with calling every white hatter a Chav, with the same associated views you hold on them. Jarrod The point i made about Liverpool is that the older generation of people in Liverpool are the only people who use this work correctly !!!!
  12. WRONG ! Chav is a Liverpool term for a Kid or someone who is small. Sorry to spoil everyones name throwing ! I don't like to call anyone a name like' Chav, Emo, Punk,Greaser,Rockabilly or anyother terms you can come up with. It's called being stereotypical ! Do you not think if everyone knew what a trials rider was and where they ride they'd hate our f**king guts ! But thats not right is it ? Becouse not ALL Trials riders are wankers and treat the public and public parks and arear with complete disrespect. So don't do it ! It's not right. 14. Old School and proud !!!! Nice bike man ! Jarrod
  15. I said this becouse not everyone runs tubeless, As i hope your aware you don't need to run tubeless to use a tubeless tyre ? But becouse a Tubeless tyre had thicker sidewalls it is less prone to getting pinch flats when run with a tube Jarrod
  16. REPOST OF A GAY BIKE. Jarrod
  17. No. My hope C2's have a TPA style adjuster on them (The silver knob on the top of the lever) so you can change the distance of the pads. If that is what you mean ? As for spokes they clear by miles ! I think you might have mis-understood me. Jarrod Edit. Think i've just got what you mean ! You mean the Rotor's spokes ? Remember there is a +20 mount in there aswell. It is close but dosen't touch. That is what i was trying to eliminate, and is why i did all of the work. Pics added showing no rubbing on the spokes.
  18. I run a UST (Tubeless) Super Tacky 2.5 High Roller. And yes, i do run Tubeless on my trials bike. The tyre takes on it's own form (rather than being pushed out by a tube) making it alot more "Plyable" and grippy. Being Ust the tyre has a steel bead and a Three ply Sidewall, making pinch flats really hard. Dual Compound makes the sides softer than the middle, but thats £5 more ! Jarrod
  19. HAHAHA Nahhh he's cool. Quote "If you' name ain't on the list you ain't commin' in !" Jarrod
  20. By "Shaving the mount" i ment taking it off of the ovalised bolt holes on the +20 mount, so i could slide the brake up or down further. I had also taken into acount that taking material off of the disc would affect the diameter, Wich is why i had to make my mounts more adjustable. My fork mounts are set for brakes that are 185mm from standard. As C2's are old and we didn't have any 205 rotors or adapter mounts in stock i had to adapt the disc and the +20 mounts. so that between the two it removed 2mm in total. Making my mounts set for 203mm rotors. I did all of that becouse my brakes were too high for the disc and only used half of the pad. Hope that cleared things up a bit Jarrod Edit. Just to add. I did all of this becouse i finished working there on Saturday and couldn't order anything in with my staff discount ! XD
  21. It will say on the bottle. You can but i wouldn't recomend it ! It is all down to the Viscosity of the liquid. Lower Dot fluids will return to particles when boiled (due to high use) and will then release water making your brkes feel weak. Viscosity is essentialy the "Thickness" of a liquid. Hope this and my little run through helped ! Jarrod
  22. Billy. I love Billy. He beat up the nextdoor neighbours dog. Jarrod
  23. Dude, i ride outside of the Uni at least twice a week. Jarrod
  24. oh my god THAT LOPEZ HIGH ROLLER IS WHAT ? THREE YEARS OLD !!!!!!!!!!!!! Change it XD Jarrod
  25. Dude its fooking easy ! Make sure the resovior cap is completely flat (spirit level ?) put bit of 10mm plastic hosing on the bleed nipple of the caliper and then get a coke can/bottle and sellotape a spoke to it (firmly !) and then bend the spoke so it hangs off your frame with the piece of hose in the bottle..loosen off the bleed nipple half a turn...Whip the resovoir cap off and then slowly pull the lever all the way back to the handlebars....Do this once or twice then top up the resovoir....Do that between 9-10 times so the system has been fully "bled". Make sure you use Dot 5.1 fluid...... 9 out of 10 times all you need to do is Zip tie your lever....Zip tie your lever tight and leave it over night. If it still feels shit you probably need to bleed it. Jarrod
