  3. Pashley 26 - 16Lbs wich equates to about 6.8Kg's Jarrod
  4. To say that old trials frames are shit is a ridiculous thing to say. Maybe, it's got something to do with trials riders in general having a "Bodge it" approach to bike maintanence and care. I can appreciate that modern trials riding is hard on a bike, but old bikes were designed to be ridden compeletly different ! And if you ride them within there limits they'll last as long as you want them to. I've been quite harsh on my Pashley, and my Fatty's but both are in spot on condition. Riding an old bike with care is fun, and you'll get an attachment to it. Not like these new frames that you throw away every year. Jarrod
  5. I know Marko Pretty well, He's got a Mod with a Spring in the frame that he's designed. Spot on bloke Jarrod
  6. My Pashley's never cracked/snapped and i've owned and ridden that frame from new....And it's nearly 10 years old ! Anybody who says old bikes are shit is narrow minded and quite frankly, a wanker. Jarrod
  7. Well, i'm glad Pashley and Orange were there I like the story of Onza's roots ! Jarrod
  8. Old school is beast ! If it wasn't for bikes like that you wouldn't have any of the bikes you ride today ! None of this "I own 7 trials companys, they all make exactly the same products but at different prices" Bollocks... It's a Trials bike. Jarrod
  9. It's true.... I clocked this my boss's one in the E-Type at 120mph now it's de restricted.... Bloody scary though ! Jarrod
  10. I wouldn't know, the school i went to had bars on the windows and i stayed there 340 days a year Jarrod

    Helmet

Some of the Specialized helmets are amazing ! The tests they put them through are outstanding, and the weight is on another level..... This is the one i have. Obviously, it's pretty much the lightest lid in the world. And it's got the patented "Body Geometry" so it's comfy, When i went to a press day the director was wearing one as part of a week long comfort test 184 Grams Jarrod
  12. Plastic Not So Fantastic.... Get Some Metal Boy ! Jarrod
  13. Haha... I forgot your new to trials ! Click the "Pashley" in my Sig. I want a Basket now Bikes And Baskets Jarrod
  14. http://www.trials-forum.co.uk/forum/index....howtopic=112628 I posted quite a bit in your NMC post Jarrod
  15. Corrected ! Magura make a set. But more importantly, the whole world dosen't revolve around 4 bolt mounts. And to awnser the guy's question, If you are looking for a Trials specific frame i'm sure there is something out there. But if i were you i'd stick to a more streety frame, like a Leeson or a Curtis or a Pashley (if your really cool) Because all of these frames will work reasonably well with Suspension forks and have great Geo. Then once you've got it nailed move onto something trials specific ? Or, just buy a real cheap Stock and wreck it learning the basics. But remember, no buying or selling in NMC ! (Probably your best bet) Hurry up and Validate this guy so we can help him out ? Jarrod
  16. [Edit] Meh', can't be bothered for an argument. [Edit] Jarrod
  17. That is SO bad...I can see the Lasso tool from here.... Jarrod
  18. Already been posted mate But i like it ! I think it looks really futuristic Jarrod
  19. Cool ! Everything apart from the Reed Valve's been done. I saw one on Ebay earlier but i didn't realise what it was ! I took the tube off the exhaust and welded a plate over it, it's already got an Arrow expansion pipe and can on it. I've ordered - New Jets and a power chamber (holds excess fuel then injects it at ridiculous speeds) and a set of Iridium plugs. I took it round the block after i did the exhaust and it's bloody fast ! Jarrod
  20. XD I know.......Just looking at it makes me happy I polished it today at work and all of the scratches are gone, except on the bottom of the Chainstay. Jarrod Echo Team Bikes with seats are nice But it's more the feel of riding an oldschool bike. Jarrod
  21. *Awaits the slagging match* I completly Agree. I've always seen old school trials as alot more flowing, and stylish. But new stuff just seems to be about how far you can jump. I'm building a mod to try out new trials riding....I'll probably love it knowing me ! Jarrod
  22. Haha, ok i love my Fatty's too. But, Is there a genuine bit of hype over older bikes at the moment ? Jarrod
  23. ... A Decent set of cranks will be alot stiffer and will make you feel alot more confident about riding your bike. Simple as ! So, as always. Your best off buying the best you can afford. Jarrod
