I'm going full circle. I can't believe I'm saying this. Daily driver, with 290ishbhp, and decent handling mods and a set of LCR Brembos... An S3 would absolutely annihilate an LCR in every way other than outright speed. Prawn drove mine a fair bit, and for a 'put your foot down, go out and enjoy it' car it was insanely fast in the real world. They're pretty confidence inspiring once you get the setup right. All personal preference though I guess.

I bought the eBay ones that George and now Prawn have, they are so much better than pre-built projector headlights! I'm just going to leave them for now, they were supposed to be a cheap project to take up a day without costing a fortune. I can't really be bothered to make them look any better visually. I think with some 10mm spacers and a bit of camber the car will sit a bit better and make the lights look more in keeping with the car?

The lights being little dots do look a little bit odd I agree; if I did it again I probably wouldn't paint it and I'd have left them silver and fitted the 4 light grille. Live and learn. I was kind of hoping for the low and wide 90's German look that Mk2's had back in the day. I have kind of pulled it off. Looking at things online, I kind of wish I had of gone wide track. But I can always run spacers I guess :/

Buy them. Unbelievably good seats for the cash, oddly I bought another set last night. The sliding runners they come with are universal, you will need Clio specific subframes for your car too unit them on.

I'm the first person to admit that I'm not very good at doing anything fiddly, that doesn't involve nuts and bolts. But I'm really happy with how these have turned out! The four light grille just didn't look right. So I put the twin light grille on. Usually I hate them, but I quite like this.

Thanks, maybe next time we can do it in my car as well. It will be a very different car by the time you see it again I can't believe how forgiving MX5's are, I really want a go in one that's a little more "optimized" shall we say. For a standard car, I can totally see what all the hype is about.
