By "used" in what context do you mean ? The only thing I can find a use for on the trials-uk site is the number at the top left to complain when all the shit I've ordered doesn't turn up/is not what I ordered. That is a fair point, but it has it's plus and minus's in each of the weights. As has been said, if you know what your doing and drive to the condition and your own ability I can't see how 300BHP can be a problem. Look at the power that can be got into a mini ? Turbo'd redtops and stuff like that, fair enough there a hand full but theres a fair few of them about.

It was SO fun though. Same again today ? No jokes, if that was my groundhog day I'd be so happy. I got to see Allen, I saw a dalmation with a pink face, I hugged a chicken, I got to drive along in sunglasses and a silly hat, I got to work out that some people are complete pricks, I found out Loughborough is full or broads, I learned how many f**ked engines you can fit in one garage, and that it's pretty grim up north. So I get there right (about 4 hours one way), looking a bit . And the guy's like "It drives brilliantly, the body work's had a bit of attention, but its only a one previous owner car, I've got a mint interior (that was the wrong color and year!) for it, and it's solid as a rock. I've done 50 miles in it so far and I even got it up to 70 at one point! Only 106K on the clock." I was like....OK then, lets get this interior out then (That was only a ploy so I could see just quite how rotten it was). Top of the rear wings ? f**kED, boot floor ? f**kED, inner front wings ? f**kED. And it had OBVIOUSLY been clocked. My last 99 had hundreds of K's on it and it was mint, the interior was like new and it was solid as a rock. That cost me about £400, which shows how much his shitter was. Then I said to him, "Well, it's not what I expected. It was photo'd very deceptively, and the gearbox is nailed. Lets get a seat back in it and I'll take it for a spin before we go any further." And the cheeky fanny says to me "Well, your 900's not exactly the best. You didn't say the petrol cap was blue, and I sold a full pressure turbo that was better than that for £500." I didn't *really* need any more encouragement from that point on to not do the deal. So I took it out for a spin and slyly took my phone with me. As soon as I put it into second gear the deal was over. If only we had of brought Allens maiming knife. And is it not REALLY obvious in this photo (one of the ones from the advert!) that the petrol caps blue ? The worst bit is he had a Scarabe Green 9000 up there he was breaking, so he had a petrol cap for it anyway !?!?!

300bhp is NOT massive power. It's not hard to drive a high power FWD car, it's bloody fun if you know what your doing. For instance, I drove my mates 9K with a proven 400BHP at the wheels the other day. And it was no harder to drive than my stock 900 turbo. Until you put your foot down then you had to think about what your are doing. As has been said, the power is manageable as long as you've got the chassis to put it down.

I'm sure Allen will pop his head in and explain. The highlight of my day was picking up a chicken at Allens house, that shows how f**ked this Saab was.

As has been said. Allen is working on a team with a man who built one in his shed and beat lotus's top speed by 10mph. And came third overall. Unlucky.
