I've got an old Campag Record fixed hub at work. You can have it for £15 posted ? Or I can build you a wheel with said hub and a nice Rim to suit with propper (not bike hut ) spokes ? Same as these -

Check the gearbox oil, if necessary drain it and check for any swarf in the old oil and then refill with some fresh. Try driving along then putting your foot on the clutch and let it coast, or accelerating and then taking your foot off lightly (so the gearbox isn't accelerating) and see if it still makes the noise.

It's a common problem with diesels and bit torquey V8's, because they don't get rev'd very high the oil doesn't get thrown over the cams so they wear prematurely.

We've got a thread like this somewhere, nobody ever uses it so it's a good job you made this one Meganes should have self adjusting tappets IIRC...

Fair enough ! I'll get a few photo's of the bits I've got knocking around, I've got about 20 key wind pocket watches too. All of them bought for -£30 from boot sales and stuff, I've got a friend who restores grandfather clocks who gives them a going over for a beer every now and then. So I'll get some photo's of them up as well

That looks nice ! To be honest though, as soon as you get over £500 the movements will be great quality anyway. All the rest is just a status symbol/visual enhancements. What do you make on watch weights ? I personally like to know the watch is there with a bit of weight, but not too heavy. Some people love really light watches, what sort of weight are the B&R's if you know ?

I agree there a bit OTT, but they are a classic and a sure sign of money ! You don't wear one unless you can afford it, which is why I'd like to have one if I make the right money when I'm older. I've heard of Bell & Ross, there very pricey with a "military" look to them IIRC ?
