  1. If you want to be a glory hogger you get what your given, you don't ask for the lime light then just whine about how unfair the challenges are. Man up a bit.
  2. Well look at your hanger and see if it has a K stamped into it and matches that one
  3. You'll need a mech hanger for an 07 Control, for an 07 Control.... And 160's *should* be ok, it's all personal preference, I was running 175's but I'm quite tall and prefer more leverage on the cranks. And the gearings a personal thing again, try it out and raise and lower the sprocket size to get the right amount of speed and acceleration needed.
  4. Sorry dude, but you can't buy or sell in New Members Chat. You have to be validated to buy and sell on the forum, stick to the rules and make well thought out posts and you'll be a full member in no time.
  5. What I do is just put the pedal on the edge of the thread then just pull the rear wheel backwards, tightens them up a treat
  6. Get a second hand T Pro, there great little bikes and the frames are much better spec than the kit on them. So there good to upgrade
  7. NO BUYING OR SELLIN IN NMC ! I got a f**king warn for saying something along those lines
  8. The local bike shops should be able to do it, unless there being pricks. Lace it up yourself then get them to dish and true it, there are plenty of online how too's and stuff.
  9. You come out with some stupid shit sometimes. Not only that but pretty much every pedal on the market has L and R on the end of the axel.
  10. Post a photo of it, I don't work at Halfords (thank f**k) but we've got a big stack and store box full of light brackets so I'll have a look
  11. Chains probably too tight, whats the tension like?
  12. Trials Forum automatically resizes it for you. If it is REALLY massive then put it onto photobucket first and then resize it from there. And you can resize it on paint, use the square lasso tool and then cut out what you want and copy it. Open up a new file on paint and then paste it in, then use the buttons in the corner of the box you copied to resize it.
  13. Lock tight on the threads next time. If it still comes loose just buy a new crank arm. [/thread]
  14. Well, you say that but I rode a GHZ once and couldn't get on with it at all. But my MHZ was fantastic, if you want shot of yours then hook me up
  15. Well thought out challenge there Circus, I like your thinking.
  16. Yep, it was in the water for about 5 min's while we swapped around so Nigel could try and get it out. It was up to the door handels at one point, and the water inside was at the same level. All the interior was nailed, but theres only two buckets in there anyway. The winch went nuts afterwards and cooked itself, BUT it still drove the rest of the day. And drove home with all lights working. TDI ***. *It's quite funny seeing those pics, that disco has a 2" lift and is on big tyres. That muds almost 5 Feet deep
  17. Photos as requested, there are lots more to come ! -
  18. Well, thats the first one this week....
  19. No buying or selling in NMC foo.
  20. Waiting for them to get emailed to me ! I don't know what photos there are, but I know there are photos. *Just got into work and turned my phone on to get a message from the publishers of Land Rover World, I should be in Aprils issue on page 48 on the bottom left ! Sweeeeet

    Need Help

It doesn't matter how tall you are, it's all about how you want the bike to ride. If you want to be further over the front wheel then yeah, one spacer is cool. But if you want to bring yourself back up so your body weights further towards the back of the bike then you want the stem to be higher. Also I'm assuming your putting a new set of forks on, so the wheel base will probably be +/- what your used to and you might need to adjust the geometry to suit ?

... You get a hack saw with a metal blade, and you cut a straight line where the stem ends then put a star nut in and put the spacers, stem and top cap on. You can get a special fork cutting jig hat basically clamps down on the forks and provides you with a straight channel to cut through, but you don't really need it. I'd suggest riding it around uncut with lots of spacers for a few weeks so you can work out the right height.
