  3. The Concorde wasn't built badly at all ? It was built much better than an A380 airbus is !
  4. Not going to happen unforunatly, you have to be voted in by recieving 5 votes from full members. I don't think thats going to happen after this breech of the rules...
  5. I live in Basingstoke now, but I went to school in Sherfield English. I've got a couple of 4x4 mates who live in Dibden, and I spend most of my Sundays in the New Forest messing around.
  6. That was at an Air Show Adam, if they kept starting that up as and when they pleased how long do you think it would be before they got in trouble for it ?
  7. Hey dude, where abouts near Southampton are you ? I know that area really well, you might be somebody I know
  8. Neg' from balls of steel - Our very own Matt Purdon -
  9. +1 Jon. Quite sickening really, I've got a 14 Y/O cousin and I hope to f**k things like this aren't happening to her.
  10. http://wiki.answers.com/Q/What_are_AF_spanners AF = American Fine, which refers to the thread. What you have quoted is AF Spanner sizes where AF is also used to abbreviate Across Flats as a measure of the spanner. I know, I've got hundreds of AF spanners... Don't you boys know anything about the old school ?
  11. Yeah, but thats hardly a big problem is it ? If they've got the aerodynamics and the engine to do it they can sure as hell make a fuselage and and fuel tanks to deal with the extra forces and expansion... And I don't know what point you were trying to make by popping Concorde in the mix there but Concorde was one of the safest and most successful passenger aircraft produced....
  12. Random one for you, there is a Concorde in France at the Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport which was supposed to be kept in "ground running" condition but they have to ask permission and start it up at special times. They've been starting it up willy nilly and a few months back they did it whilst a health and safety inspector was on site and the chances are it's going to be cut up because they can't be trusted with it... Not many people know about this yet
  13. Oh ok, so AF doesn't stand for American Fine.... Yes is the answer, you will have to get a lock ring then find out what thread it is. Try phoning King they might be able to help, failing that a machine shop will be able to tell you what thread you need and then use a die to cut the outside of the hub shell.
  14. Slip out the back Jack, make a new plan Stan, don't need to be coy Roy, just listen to me ! Hop on the bus Guss, you don't need to discuss much, just drop off the key Lee and get yourself free. Night babycakes xx
  15. Yeah, but I do it right because I'm gangsta' !

  17. Get off the bandwagon, nobody cares wether you're a new member or have been on the forum for years. You gave a shitty and uncalled for response which has been met with a uniformly suitable reply, unfortunately (despite how fun it is) stuff like that isn't really OK on here. If there is a problem with the way the guy is posting then trust me, one of the mods' will hit the de-validate button and he'll be put back into NMC to then be upgraded at full members discretion. Yes, I agree with you his lack of punctuation was alarming and is something he should try and sort out. But don't worry, the sweet justice that is TF won't let him go unchecked for long...
  18. Oh yes, because your just so perfect.... It's potentially a good idea for you to not reply to this post
