Probably been locked up for tax evasion to be honest.
-
Just buy a new wing, probably less than £30.

f**k off you donkey dick, what about the three hours I spent there getting Lou's car mapped? Not to mention, my car was one of the proper rad old school not live mapped R Tech cars.
-
If you haven't got the message yet Cum-face, we are bitterly dissapointed at your lack of research and disregard for quality. Next you will be asking us which DV spring to run... Not to mention if you went to R Tech you would be Prawns 400'th referal and be would have got a free sticker.
-
You also need to accept you have wasted your money, shouldn't have got stage 1 and should have gone straight to R Tech for stage 2. Niki is getting 250bhp out of K03s's and 300bhp out of K04's, enough said.
-
I am right and I have had work done by R Tech, they are the best. Simples.
-
The opinion I have of R Tech is simple, they are the best. And regardless of distance anybody who has their car mapped by anybody other than Niki is, special. I have seen amazing figrues from Niki, and what is incredible is he doesn't seem to care about the fact he is a business. He plays with these cars because he loves it, for instance to prove a point he once offered to map K03 cars for free, because people did not believe he could get the figures he claimed. He has built such a name for himself by offering incredible service, mental knowledge and most of all by pushing the boundries. Niki knows that the best way to get his customers in is by offering the highest performance for the least money. And he does it safely, responsibly and in a fun enviroment. An R Tech car feels special because every one is different, and Niki remembers them all. I sent him a PM on ASN with just a picture of my car asking him if he had a before and afer log on his file from the mapping session he had. I wasn't expecting a two page essay mentioning every detail of my car which he had mapped over a year ago. He is a legend, unlike Seamons who is a bellend.

Your mum is slow, even with all that "electric wheelchair" kit bolted onto her. Serious note, just spent some money. Wellll good!

I am going to Taunton on Sunday to drive a TB'd PH1 and a 182 with an RS2. Will make my purchase then
-
Sacrifice in torque is not a problem with RS2's, quite the opposite in fact - The way I see it is I can have cams, decat and an RS2 all in for under 2K. Which will see me 200bhp and a super flat torque curve, or I can get TB's which will cost me £2500 which ever way I look at it which will offer me a little more power for my pennies and the chance to upgrade in the future because I'll have a stand alone ECU. Hmm. RS2 - I want the RS2 because it seems far more accessible to me, that way I can do my modifications in bits and I can have it mapped myself or do it with my RS Tuner. TB's are a whole new world to me, and they are scary I don't think I will be losing my money on the RS2, complete kits seem to sell for +/-£750 and this sold last night (home made attempt at an RS2) for £350 within 5 mins of being for sale and the guy has people snapping his arm off to make more! -

Adam, I see you looking now. I've had a great couple of months at work, and have raped the comission so I'm going the next step with the Clio. My KW V2's are paid for and are being made for the CS group buy, so suspension is sorted. Next up, power. RS2 inlet or TB's. Any opinions? *edit Prawn, why did you turn around and go back the other way in that video? Did you get lost at Axford lol!

It injects water/meth into the intake on what so it brings down intake temperatures and can increase the octane rating of the charge. It reduces the chance of pre detonation and allows the car to run full boost for longer as well as beneficial timing so the engine can run a little more advance if you are lucky. A colder intake charge is more dense, and can cause a bigger bang if mapped appropriatly. f**king spell bollocks keeps changing W.O.T to what...

Lobster dog is so old. Pirate dog is where it's at -

That and she couldn't stop laughing when she realised you starred in the Two Towers.

Did you shag any bitches in it?

The daily abuse for having a 1.4 306 for the last 7 years?
-
Yup, but if he wanted it as badly as I (and others do) then it wouldn't have to wait. I see myself as having had my "fun" times with mental cars and NOW I am working for my future. Life's long, I say live it whilst you can. Again though, Robin and I will still end up in the same place and doing the same sort of thing to achieve our goals in life, but he'll have gone to college and Uni for it and I will have blagged it all my life.
-
I know I am a bit big headed, but the way I see it is simple. Having wanted nice cars, and settled for shit cars myself I just felt like a failure. As though I hadn't got what I wanted, because what I wanted the most was a nice car I couldn't afford. So I worked harder, and bought the car I wanted. Which made me feel like I had achieved what I set out to do. All the time I was driving a shit car I didn't want and had no interest in, I felt crap about it and it was always on my mind. The difference with you and I Robin is that you are A a realist, and B motivated to do work yourself. We both get what we want but in different ways, I buy things and you build them over time. I wanted my nice cars so badly I put my life on hold, every single penny and every waking hour was spent working just for those 30 mins to work and back every day or for an afternoon drive on a Sunday. If you wanted it as badly as I did, you'd have put your education on hold as I did everything in my life.
-
I started life with the same opportunities as everybody else, and I bought stupid cars because it was what I wanted and it was my interest. What I am trying to say is...If you really want something then it is possible, the only reason you couldn't afford what you wanted is because you hadn't worked hard enough.

Argh this thread hurts my brain! If you LOVE cars, you will never quibble about the cost of insurance and running costs. You will buy the cars you want and feel awesome. If you don't you will buy a shed and drive it forever whilst all your friends take the piss out of you. But then when you are 25 you will buy a nice car. Make your mind up which camp you want to be in and buy to suit. Within my first six months of driving I had owned a BMW 750IL, a mental Saab 900 Turbo, a Jag XJS and a Rover 220 Turbo. Because I am in the petrolhead camp. My only actual advice is to say that my Ford Pop was £490 a year to insure when I was 17. And if you do short journeys and don't go anywhere major then you should get one, it will teach you mechanical sympathy and you will learn how to drive properly. I have had mine since I was 11 and have done over 60,000 miles in it with my dad, as well as it being my daily driver for 18 months whilst I had second cars. It has never broken down or failed me once and has been the best car I will ever own. So you should buy one too because they are awesome.

All press fit BBs are fully shit, I f**king hate them. Shimano are the only way to go, the one in the link up there is ok. You just need to remember than press fit BB's are designed for race bikes, and as such need full on maintenance. I used to grease and re-seal mine weekly.

I managed to get 4 votes in for you with my various mobile browsers.

Tasted shit, made me feel ill and was messy. The measures and times are all wrong, and the ingredients aren't usually fresh enough to work, so you get a powdery pint of piss. If you enjoy a nice pint then move along, if you just want 15 cheap pints then it is good. Prawns dad makes a wicked home brew, there is not a single person alive who has sampled it and will not testify that that shit f**ks you up.
