  1. So fecking gay. I love Battlefield, I rock at it too which helps. Had like 4 pints of G&T and I'm pretty smashed, thank f**k I am the only person in work tomorrow from my dept!

Have you guys seen my bird? - FINALLY finished the map on the Clio today, SO happy with the way it drives now. Might not seem so amazing to you guys, but to me this is a great improvement - [media=]
  3. The reason I post so much is that cars are pretty much my life, I sell them all day long and work on them/drive them/watch them every morning and night. I was up at 6 mapping my Clio, amd was up until 9 last night machine polishing a scrape out fo my wing and then I played Forza for an hour. You may say it is unhealthy and I would agree, but it is pretty much what I work and live for.

The only person who was actually a bit oh shit" was Lou ringing me up like WHAAAAT! Haha. - I finished my map this morning, my graphs and logs are showing a healthy torque improvement an 8k limiter and about 9KW power increase. Well happy.

  9. Fit rod bolts. Keep standard valve gear. Good for 8500rpm. This is what I have been told. Or are you pair trying to make out that I don't know the difference between valve gear and the big end? If so, mega lols.
  10. This is what I have been told by the globally accepted and always right members of ASN. That with rod bolts 8500 is doable. Pretty sure I saw Bill post it once.
  11. Standard valve gear is good for 8500rpm with rod bolts.

  17. I doubt you'd be able to get the lock wire in there to be honest, it's SUCH a tight space you'd never do a good job IMO. The problem is that the outlet has no ridge or flange on it, as well as it only being about half an inch long. It's a spastic design. lolz, superglue. :bow:
  18. Just quickly back to the question from T comp whatever. You wouldn't stand a chance getting a Mikalor clamp onto the inlet, it is literally impossible to get the standard clamp on there. Let alone one which is a half inch wide. Personally I would forget about it and leave it. Prawn, my girlfriend and myself have driven our cars with the TIP clamp either not on, or flapping about for years. It is under negative pressure, so as long as your mum doesn't get under the bonnet and smash the TIP about it won't fall off.
  19. It was the thing I had the most of which I didn't mind using and might have worked haha! I'll get some new lights for it, but I just wanted something to take the yellow off for now
  20. Yup, as good as I could get it. I spent about an hour per light. Started with 400 grit wet and dry, then 600, then 1200, then 1500 grit and polished it with my rotary and some T-Cut. Properly common problem on Clio's, they crack and craze so bad. A decent used set of lights is £300.
  21. Almost three year bump seeing as everybody hates my use of the car thread. I whipped my lights off today, front bumper etc and wet sanded my lights and removed some shit I didn't really need. Doing a feck load of my own mapping, I'm currently 8bhp peak up on stock and have got a lot of torque mid range. Still need to tweak the timing at the point of peak torque, looking for 12.5.1 AFR.
  22. Map and an exhaust would be 260/265 if you are lucky. The figures are hugely out, as well as the 250 (which is actually 247) is anengine hp not a whp. With a map, decat and miltek it won't be more than 265 flywheel. Bearing in mind it is Haldex as well I would be expecting 220/230WHP. 1490kg car without the driver, gives 150bh/t.
  23. Dyno lottery is probably at play, schrick cams are the most aggressive I have commercially seen and they are lucky to see 275bhp when mapped. A decat may free up a little power midrange but I doubt it would have a great effect on the peak figure. Muel is pretty much on the right line. Forced induction or a 5 grand NA build is IMO the only way to a 300bhp R32/V6 TT. - I have been mapping my car! Standard - Haven't had time to do a performance run after my tweaks this morning, but it mainly focuses on AFR, timing and lambda trickery. Really really fun!
