The Vtec Mini swap is one of the most common and well documented non BL/Rover engine swaps out there for Mini's. I would say most people who own a Mini would have a Vtec conversion at the top of their list of wanted mods. (Maybe second to rivet on Miglia arches lol) Including Hail I know 4 people with Vtec Mini's. They are only £44.03 a tyre new in 15" compared to £40.32 for T1R's. In all seriousness, the 15" wheels will have some RB5's, R888's, RSR's etc on them I hope. If I can't afford them I will just put a set of T1R's/Spec 2's on. I'll only have them for when the sun is out properly or for proper drives. I have got my eye on a set of Turbines on ebay at the moment, I really like the look of them.

My tires are the best "budget" tires I've ever driven. You say Paradas are shit, but that's surely in context to a heavier car like yours. People with lighter car (anything sub 1050kg's) seem to swear by them other than the price?
