Just realised that I have been making loads of spelling mistakes, sorry guys. I have only really got my phone at the moment which is kind of ruining my ability to post normally.

If you just turn up and go nuts at a track or open pit day then you will be pulled off the track and bye bye to the rest of the day. If you just want to get the driving frustrstion out then there is only one thing for it, banger racing! Hillclimbs are not cheap, you need an MSA National B license to race as well as steep entrg fees. At best a hillclimb will cost you £1200 in kit for the right car and £250 for a weekend. Track days will cost at least £250-300 a time and open pit panes around the same. However if something goes wrong and the routine maintenence of the vehicle you can pay double that and more if something goes wrong. Not to mention the whole no insurance AT ALL for you or the other drivers.

Neow. Rally Cross is NOT a cheap fun alternative. Rally cross is PROPERLY expensive compared to a track day. Buy an MX5 if you want RWD or a Clio 172 if you want FWD, keep it 100% totally standard and on road tyres. Then go learn to dribe on track

I've re-posted on his FB wall, I'll try and ring him tomorrow.

That's a can of worms opened Alex... If it was proper permanent 4WD then it would be an arguable advantage if small and compromised, the shit Haldex system that comes on S3's and Quattro A3's is the devils work and would IMO make even Prawns car a sack of turd.

Any real pointers on how to compose a shot well? How come some pictures are easy to look at and almost tell your eye where to look? So funny Jamie, why would you assume I will be Mr Amazing at something I know nothing about? I'm not that bad.

My friends came home from South Africa at the weekend so we all went to Tim Minchin at Eden, which was a brilliant excuse to buy a new camera and be a tourist. First DSLR, first shots with it, hopefully not too bad if a little generic, I think the main "criticism" I have of my photo's is that I need to learn how to compose a shot properly.

The standard 18-22mm kit lens, a 50mm 1.8 and a 55-200mm, three UV filters, an 8GB SDHD card, a case, a screen cover, a remote, a tripod and a spare battery. I spent all day yesterday at the Eden Project watching Tim Minchin so I will get some of my first snaps up later

Shamus, if you walk from stoke on the bus station side of the road towards the life center and then go to walk across the road (as if go go to the center) I did it in the first pedestrian island with the raised curb stones. On the left hand side at the second set of lights before you turn left to go up ford hill.

I think Knighting is in order here. CLEARLY a hero. -
Good plan, now how can we convince Prawn? You know how most men have to convince the wife? In my case...Prawn is the wife. Ironically I stuffed it trying to keep up with the actual wife in her Audi haha

LOlZ, just found this off my old camera - 3 years ago now! Time really flies!

You me at 6? Flat as a f**king pancake ALL.THE.TIME - A day to remember whilst not being flat and being very good lyricists seem to have the same problem as every other almost emo rock band, in that they are stuck in the same note and unable to get out of it. Until the point where they shout and their voice goes rusty. Metallica, AWESOME to watch live (I've seen them a couple of times) but vocally pretty weak. But it's ok, because they're Metallica and their instruments and lyrics carry the vocals. NOBODY can argue about BFMV and their "adjusted" vocals, how a band from Bridgeend can sound so American I don't know. If you're going to say you hate autotuned bands, at least come out with a preference for a band that can actually sing. -

Ironic much. You don't like autotune but listen to you me at 6, BFMV Metallica and a day to remember? LOLZ. -
TBF I did say RS Tuning weren't amazing... HOWEVER, nothing wrong with upping the boost on a standard engine, as long as it is also mapped correctly and done within reason. If your head gasket has gone weeks after upping the boost and having it mapped then chances are it is due to the tuning. Head gaskets do not "just go" there is always an action, and they are always a consequence to something else. Wether that is over heating, running too much boost or whatever there will always be a cause for it doing a HG. They do not just fail with time.

R26's are silky smooth, great ride.

Mike is a lovely bloke, he would never have anybody over. Probably just off building a shelter for homeless Kenyan children. (that is the sort of shit he thinks is fun, headcase) I will ping him a post on his facebook wall.

My mates just traded in his IMMACULATE Corolla T Sport Compressor for an 18 month old Toyota Auris?! What a cnut.

Guy called Luke? I work with him, he had his Civic written off the other day Wether a car s good or not does not bear and relevence to it's price, some of the best cars you can buy cost less than 4K. I had more fun in my £500 220 Turbo than I ever did in bigger more expensive cars.

Thanks Dan, I love the Clio. I am not bored of it or anything and don't want to sell it yet. I am just looking to the future. This is my current inspiration - They are said to be one of the best handling FWD cars ever made, and I love 90's cars. Never had a Honda before and the Jap scene is something I have never ventured into. I've done French, Italian, German, Swedish, Euro/English so why not give Jap a go next year.

Nor do I, it's strange I just want one. I got a lift in one the other day and it was pretty swish, and I keep seeing a championship white ITR which is slammed on it's bum with some red Recaro's in it and it is awesome. Maybe I am like mentally addicted to buying cars.
-
Omfg, have got a really strong urge to buy an ITR. f**k my life.

I think a name like RI Specialist Engineering or RI Specialist Fabrication ticks every box personally. The word specialist is key to not sounding cheap IMO. The word applied always sounds good too.
