Just wondering then, as you say bearings are no problem, if you would be able to have a go at fixing my profile 26" hub. I think it must be the bearings, as i have replaced two of the pawlks and springs already, and i dont think the other two are knackered. god sorry, i edited my post when i had read it propely. I dd not realise there was so very little pad in contact with the backing. That is most likjely the key problem. Was not trying to cause aggrovation

EDIT: ok i jsut read the rest of the post properly and that was a bit harsh, there does look to be very little to hold the pad in. I do apologise :lol: wray
