Here's the story, I was watching a dvd quite happily, when it suddenly started juddering (the playback) I thought what is it doing? Then it decides to blue screen. So now I'm thinking well this isn't good. Restarted, try running dvd again, still juddering. Hmmm I have tried updating drivers, but there isn't anymore up to date ones. Also unplugged and reconnected again to see if lose connecteion(doubtful but you never know). Then i tried running a vcd, this worked perfectly fine. So now im confused. Any ideas guys? Cheers Wray

Well in response to that part, you could be in an indoor life guard, i.e at a swimming pool. There all year round jobs so thats a positive. Maybe You need to let your parents know you want to control your life, encourage them to ease off your back a tad, it will help you a lot. Basically show them you are focused on what you want to do (when you find out what you want to do that is) and they should leave you to it more, rather than pushing you and anoying you. Wray

You can change the sounds by going to your control panel>sounds and changing the windows start up/login tone. You can choose what you want to have. Not sure what you mean by the safe question though... wray

You need to select the right workplane/sketch that you drew it on. Also if there are any previous attempts at extruiding it, that didnt work, you need to delete them and click the update button before it will work wray
