A long continuous beep is usually when you have forgotten to plug the pci express power leads into the graphics card (if it needs one). Thats during a full load test that it gets to 50. Using prime95. Try it, thats one way to find out if it runs stable after you've overclocked. EDIT: Looking at your pics, are your graphics cards not really really hot during use? The air flow towards your cards doesn't look too great, surprised they havn't overheated already! Does your graphics card require direct power to it? A lot of higher end ones do, if it did, it will come with an adapter. The end of it will look like this: Click me This plugs straight into the graphics card. Mine does a big long beep when its not connected.

How cheap are we talking? A graphics card for 30quid will have dual ports. Just up to you how good you want it.
