But when I think about it, it was probably 10-12 years ago It also amazes me how we used to ride to good trials locations, even if they were miles away (also on the premise that we were to meet someone there). This was on a trials bike with 1 gear. Wouldn't even think about it these days, that's what cars are for

Out of interest, do you miss your turbo? For example, I love the lazyness of having a turbo. So going from it to an NA car would be a tad strange I'm sure?

I stopped riding years ago, probably 2006 to hazard a guess. But decided to get back into it (slowly) last year so now I have a bike which I do love riding but I have lost all previous confidence so I'm just shit. Only riding about once a month probably isn't helping though. You're right though Simon, after being on here so long I never really left when I stopped riding.

Finished 6th form in 2007, went straight to uni. Studied web systems development, finished uni in May 2010, got a job a week later at a big company in Manchester. Worked there ever since as a web developer. Also moved in with the GF this year, so now we rent a flat together. Costs a lot but saves me driving 4-500 miles every week...

I can post that I'm having my MOT done on saturday? Not very interesting to read though. PS at least my car isn't french though
