Yea us three are the Plymouth locals, always up for a ride. What was actually going on at the uni, was it an open day or something? everyone was really friendly towards us that day which was awesome, although quite rare. Good luck with uni dude, im sure Woody can tell you about any trials clubs that go on up there.

Im rolling on single ply highrollers, 2.5 front and 2.35 rear. The front is perfect but the rear is amost too grippy, its nice predictable in the wet though.

You could probably gap pretty far backwards with that set up and a bit of practice. it would be like a normal backwards gap but you could put a reverse pedal kick in just before take off.

If you want to ride backwards trials it would work.

I think this topic will be closer to a conclusion after December 21st 2012.
