  7. just got my leeson 609 up and running and wana hit the streets . anyone around the mk area? grant
  8. havent seen any HS24 maguras since martyn ashton rode for cannondale! looks like a nice ride , though i think you might find the front wheel a lil heavy. grant
  9. spantabulouse! im liking how the 24 market is growing . enjoy!
  10. im still running a old octalink set of xtr cranks , work fine but wouldnt say they are as durable as the newer LX crank . only thing i would say is you will need you BB faced with the HT2 BB system .
  11. wicked , love the 'rat' look single speed , red walled tier's are nice . lugged fork on road frame would look nice too .
  12. Over size tubes look cool! and stiff as a dead pole cat! love the rs sidehops too! lucky man , nice to have a bike with a bit of a story to it good post . grant
  13. looks good tris , but not liking the fact your riding a little girls bike x
  14. like!! why dose it have a UST rear tyer? x
  15. i dont see why car disc brake cleaner wouldnt work , but somtimes automotive products can be of a higher concetrate . buy the sounds of things , id get the disc mount face (a circular cutting bit cuts the face of the disc mount flush with the axle so it will run true) , all good bike shops will have one , id say id lend you mine , but would cost a bit on postage! maybe push the pistons back into the caliper to re-lube the piston (be carefull doing this and take the pads out as you dont want to damage the breaking surface , put old pads in or somthing to stop the pistons getting damaged. hope you get it sorted mate
  16. ive only use one brand so cant really compare , but goodridge have always been great for what ever break , though the goodridge HS33 kit dosent come with fittings for the cross over hose , so you would need to specify the fittings you would need , but that dose mean you can colour code it
  17. Same forks im running , never had the problem with them , mine have been all over the place , taken a beating and just sailed through! usually a pair on ebay for a good price as said.
  18. I can see why you would want to do , but i think if hope havent made it , that there is no point in trying to bodge somthing together . sounds like a huge amount of work for somthing that i doubt will work well and will have to be built onto a over dished wheel, just wont last . sorry to give a negative point of view , just think there a probably better options out there.
  19. The phrase 'CLEAN' comes to mind , not normally a mod fan but this is really nice. g
  20. the squealing from you break is most likley from break dust and the pads vibrating . all you need is some good disc break cleaner (white lightning metal prep is good stuff) and give the break a once over , although it is safe to spray the pads with disc break cleaner , i wouldnt recommend it as you will have to bed them in again. also i cant remember exactly what the piston are like on that break , but as they are magnetic and dont have a spring it might be worth while dabbing a little copper slip or titanium anti seize on the face of the piston so it stick to the pad and it will return with the piston better . those are just things i would try . grant
