You can.. took me ages to work out but if you select the clip then go to "clip" along the top bar and go down to audio there's a mute function.. Wayy individual clip muted! Oh and movie maker is fine with a combination of pictures.. grouped effects you can get a good edit.. just make sure you save often as it will freeze regularly. Adam
