Never used a rear one myself but i'm running one on the front at the moment, can't really compare a front hub to a rear though so i won't. Pro II rear hubs seem to be used by alot of stock riders so they can't be too bad.

Real men ride long KO's dave, Vid was cool, you seem to have inproved alot on the KO, it is a pretty drastic change going from 1005 ? to 1045 I Bet youre riding style has chaged aswell

I had a Hayes HFX9 on the front of my KO, was absolutely shite, no bite atall, it never slipped but , my tektro was better. Havnt had chance to use my BB7 on a trials bike but it seemed Pretty amazing on my other bike, it might be an idea to consider other hopes rather than just the Mono trials, maybe some downhill/xc/freeride brakes ? Avid Juicys? Hope C2's and M4's will give you more than enough stopping power, maybe abit over kill though...
