lol. Thats because i dont usually, normally i jump off. Took months to get all my crashes vids where as Steve on the other hand could prob make a whole crashes vid of himself from just 1 ride lol. As you know when Steve rides he spends more time on the floor than actually on the bike. Good vid Steve-O you crash well.
  2. Im well up for it got my new rear disk an wheel on its lovely just want to ride all the time now, only problem is im workin next day at 4 in mornin so dont look like i will be there
  3. Really tom? what a mini trial? has to be a trial one. Aint your 1 fooked though? lol tryin flog me some dodgey gear
  4. Yeah thats why i would have put a left hand lever on ahh i didnt think of that good point
  5. I have searched and couldnt find anythin of use to me. Could someone tell me:- 1) Is there any difference between to old style 'mono mini trial lever' and the old style 'mono mini lever'? They look the same but are they? 2) Second Question is the same as number 1 only on the new 2007 style lever. The reason i ask is i want a rear hope mono mini disk brake on my bike but to buy 1 brand new is loads of money and i cant find anyone selling a second hand 1. So what i was thinking is if i buy a brand new (but old style) FRONT mono mini trial (as i cannot find a rear 1 anywhere) that i found on ebay for £60 i think it was and put my left hand mono mini lever on it then i get myself in effect a pretty much brand new rear mono mini trial but about £30ish cheaper or more dependin on how much i can get it. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Posted this in Members chat too. Dan

Dan P.S If you want to sell a rear mono mini trial, Post or PM me as i would rarther just buy a second hand 1 than faffing around trying make myself 1.
  7. Oh yeah i forgot about all that new rules for white/green riders. Just sign up and it will become clear to you what you want to enter. Essex comps may have different classes to Yorkshire clubs i think if i remember rightly Dan
  8. If Monty foams are anything like the Try All foams then they are lovely to ride with i never use gloves they feel so nice. Only problem is, being foam they split in few months and are ruined well reccomended though i love em. Oh yeah an happy birthday
  9. You will be good enough i know that even without knowing who you are, just enter the 'Novice' or 'White route' catagory for your first time, if you find it too easy you can always move up to 'Intermediate' Blue route. There are a few clubs around the Country and 1 of them (The first ever biketrial club in the UK i believe) is the Essex Biketrial Club (EBTC). Visit EBTC Website for more info on how to join, where comps are and how much etc. Dan
  10. Sabelle looks really really good place to ride, you could ride every day for a year there and never do the same thing twice. To have anything even half as good as that in the UK would be brilliant it really would and i would drive all the way up there from Essex if it is as good as it sounds, (if you can camp over for few days) Hope it happens
  11. I have a triton frame and they are superb, would recomend them to anyone. They same sort of price as monty 221 Ti and koxx frames only they last a lot longer, i have had my frame about a year and a half probably now and i have had some very heavy landings on the downtube and chainstays as has James (my mate who also has Triton) and they dont seem to dent an certainly no cracks or snapps like the koxx in particular do. Good bikes if you dont mind a few month wait for them an dont mind the silly name 'Gazza' Dan The price tag is reflected in the strength and durability of the bike is the main thing i will say.
  12. is mr butler going to make it down this year????? Dono you know what he is like, says he will but depends what the gilfriend wants him to do spose

Yes Steve well done again mate not sure about calling me the stealer though hmm i blame Danny Butler for that. Oh an Pooch lol if only he see that vid he would go mad he hates being called that, good job he only got dial up connection so will prob never watch it. Well done Dan p.s Look im actually member at long last this my first post as full member you should feel privilaged that i used my first post here but then i am in the vid so what do u expect lol Bump
  16. Wierdest would probably be a crank arm. Ok so they do go but mine went not at the bottom of a big drop or anything spectacular like that but on a nice flat suface jus gently riding along the pavement when it just snapped and suddenly my foot was on the ground with pedal and crank arm. The wierd bit i think is how it happened not what it was that went.
  17. if you post that long i dont see how you arnt validated, long posts and good spelling is the key, aslong as actually replying to the topic, seriously if you post that long you must get validated well maybe but i still am only pre member, i try to keep short posts usually anyway as i dont want it to go on and on and get people bored of reading it Look ive been a pre-member for over a year! and you don't see me complaining, so quit your moaning your crazy fool! Well maybe that is ok for you but i think you will find almost everyone else in pre members is trying to get validated to post on the main forum. What if you ever want to sell a bike or parts? You cant post for sale on pre member forums its against rules and you shouldnt have to rely on your friends that are full members to sell your parts on your behalf should you. Also what if you ever want to post a video or photos of yourself or friends or a ride, whatever, sure you can post them in pre members but you wont get half the amount of views or feedback on them and they will be lost in like page 6 of the forum in no time at all, at least on full members forum there is specific sections for you to post pics or vids and they stay there longer and are viewed more.
  18. None of them. I really wouldnt bother getting trials specific shoes. I have the 'Try Alls' they feel comfortable as do any other trainers i buy, but they are a lot of money to wear only when you ride your bike and they fall apart in no time. If i were you i would just wear old trainers at least that way wen they get ruined it doesnt matter, its not worth spending all that money on trials shoes in my opinion. Once mine have really died i will not be getting a new pair probably ever just stick to an old pair of trainers.
  19. Mate i have been a pre member for months and for some reason cannot get validated, this is my 3rd account now and stil am not validated it is a joke, i never write in text language or swear or be offensive, i also never spam any threads or post silly comments. Im 19 years old and mature enough not write stupid childish comments about anything and an certainly no newbie to internet /computer/forums and have been riding for almost 5 years now so am certainly no newbie to trials either and do not seem to be able to get validated. Someone i know (a very good rider that everyone knows of) somehow managed to get validated in like a few days i think i remember him telling me, is that because he wrote up repots on things nobody else has? No its not his posts were simple ones like saying hi and well done on peoples vidios etc as the majority of peoples posts are. Is it because his forum name was his actual name and someone reconised him and thought i like his riding lets validate him? I dont know its not for me to say but does make you wonder. All you can do is post away and hope someone sees you and/or reconises you as an alright kind of person (or good well known rider that they personally like) that will bring good to the forum and not a childish kid that wants to waste everyones time. As for writing a report on somthing noboy else has already done, i say lol, there are already reports on everything and anything you want to no just use 'search' you will find loads of reports on same thing where people have reposted or even if there is no info on forum there is without a doubt info on anything you need somewhere on iternet. Personally I dont agree with the validation system i believe everyone should be full member and childish kids/spammes and time wasters should be banned rarther than other way around as it is now (because isnt that a mods job?) Another reason i dont agree with the validation system is-what if you just want to sell a bike? You cant do it because you are not full member lol its a joke. How do some of the full members get validated? Some of they are really immature and childish and post silly waste of time comments yet they get validated and there are many non-members that are well alright people but dont get seen because there is rarely a topic in non-members that is worth replying to or one that you havent already replied to like 3 times due to others not using search. Anyway back to your original question how can i get validated quicker well, dont write in text talk, dont spam threads, dont post silly pointless posts, dont swear or be offensive etc etc but in the end it all comes down to luck i think weather a mod sees your posts and thinks yeah lets validate them, or not. Like i say i have been on here roughly a year now over my 3 accounts and never got validated STILL!!!!! Sorry for writing so much Good luck geting validated (you may need it, as do i) Dan
  20. Good vid there very stylish and skilled rider really enjoyed that. Who is it?
  21. Im there Not working any more so i am there now i get there roughly 11ish i will ring someone when i arrive, Ash or Darren or Matt (only numbers i got) to see where you are Dan p.s an i think Pooch is comin too not sure avout Steve-O yet
  22. Yeah just hide em wen you come back through customs and have to pay loads of money in taxes.
  23. Yer good vid all riding spots are from where i live and ride i.e thriftwood, clacton and braintree however i dont think i no you? only person i no on a monty is Dan moore
  24. Well yes it should make the frame lighter but as everyone says by so little amount. So why do monty koxx etc spend so much money on buying brake levers and ti bolts and other silly little stuff that will also only save a few grams, its silly how much people pay to save a gram or 2, does kinda make you wonder why manufactures that are all about light bikes i.e monty and koxx do bother painting frames? maybe it is because if not painted then they will look kack and therefore will not sell many? Anyone else agree or disagree with that? Lets face it if you are rich enough to spend like twice price to save a few grams on any component your going to want it to look like you spent twice the price ehh
