no they are the same size when i got my vee setup it came with worn down cnc vee rock pad greens and i had a pair of koxx browns that were in my cnc heatsink magura backing from my previous setup so i took the old rock greens out and put the koxx browns in the backings are the right size so just order some refils from trialspads
