wow, i've never been so inspired after watching a trials video! not so much the riding but just the production and setting is great. i'm gonna go do some filming in the woods tomorrow i think. what stuff did you use to make it? like what camera/editing software was used?

Ok so i have the Samsung VP-D361 Mini DV camera and it is showing an error icon onscreen. it is an eject symbol with a c next to it. this is the second VP-D361 ive had in the past week as the last one had the same error except with a D instead of a C after the eject symbol. the manual says if these show up the camera has a mechanical error and you need to contact a dealer. anyone know anything about this? just checking as its the second time its happened but its probably just the ebay shop selling broken stuff.

Alright there. I just got a Samsung VP-D361 Mini DV Camcorder and it didnt come with a usb/firewire cable. I was wonderin if it would work if i connected it to my pc using a standard 4pin - firewire mini dv cable? It has the right port on the camera Basically, do these standard cables work with any camcorder or do i need a specific one? if not whats the best way of getting the data to my pc? Thanks Fisheye

Quick question like... How do you get this effect with a camera? Unless its just a function on some fancy camera all I can think of is if you use burst mode and paste em together on photoshop... But this seems like alot of work and i cant see the result looking this good... Cheers Kenny TSL

Thats what i thought, i had a similar problem where one link of the chain was sticking out only VERY slightly and it caught on the tensioner every time it went round till it eventually jammed it.. Im using the 3/32 kmc chain now its it great

i ride newcastle! i wanna ride tomoro... anyone? -
you know you can just use windows sound recorder right? depending on your sound card its different to set up but just open you sound card settings and mess with the inputs/outputs or whatever until you get a signal into sound recorder... i have all the fancy music production progs too but if i want to just rip a sound from somewhere on my pc, sound recorder is always the best way

thanks but thats not what i mean... i have cubase and reason in rewire but i want, say, one audio channel from cubase to be run through reason and being modulated by the vocoder, unless you mean id have to run all the reason stuff back into cubase and use it like that, but then the only input i can get into the nnxt is midi, i want audio, like, a microphone
-
Does anyone use cubase/reason/is an expert at both? Ive got reason set up with the vocoder so my usb midi controller can control the modulation of an NNXT sample but I was wondering if its possible to do this live using cubase and rewire. So id have an audio input in cubase going out to reason somehow... Any ideas?

I have the option 3 of total broadband and ive had nothing but problems from day 1. Need to restart the hub every day or so. shite connection all the time. seems nothing will work unless you forward to ports for whatever your doing and the hub HATES you port forwarding, always locks up. Ive recently learned that BT limit all non-http traffic. My torrents get capped at about 60-70kbs which is extremely annoying as thats pretty much all i use the smellnet for! Having said all that, if the hub is working and your downloading from microsoft or something I can get speeds of about 800kbs, which is amazing, but rare!

i learned that im shit at telling the difference between twinss... but i wild stab in the dark pays off

i learned more about maguras than my "bike" shop will ever know........... and i know NOTHING about them
-
I love that first picture! wish it was a bit better quality. I agree with Simpson though there do seem to be a lot of just pictures of bikes in here. Ill get a few more up tomorrow.... Maybe people should actually have these pictures as their profile pics on this board! p.s. hope your alright after the fall trialspimp! I landed flat on my back the other day, had to take a few days off. Bit annoying
-
Haha those are so fetch!! Thats exactly what I was thinking of.. And you have my booster which is extra points!
-
One of the things I love about trials is how simple the bikes are/can be. Mine is just single speed rigid as are most. This just seems to be complicating something that works pretty well to begin with. PHIL

Yeah thats what i thought. Just the way you said LEARN to use it made me think it may be something more complex. Need 2 cameras though.. unless you do the move the same twice and move the cam
