  1. You have recieved a new feedback. Below are details concerning the new feedback. Type: Good Rating Summaryreally good buyer, quick with payment etc...great to deal with! Given By: samdoman You were the: Buyer Date: 1189599609
  2. yeah, amy uses zoo! pads on a smooth rim which are incredible in the dry but the slightest bit of moisture and then she has no braking whatsoever! I use rimjam blues on a harsh grind and they seem reasonable all rounders
  3. no, poor idea. wouldnt stretch anywhere near far enough and it would be silly heavy. run a wider rim/higher pressure/get smoother if you get pinch flats. i never, ever get them!
  4. this is what i was going to say after he answered about his spoke tension... in simple terms: tighten all your spokes an equal ammount. it's easiest to start at the valve and work round putting on one tweak each time (1/4 turnish) you might have to go round the wheel a couple of times
  5. sealed bearings arent always perfect, my mate got a hope xc hub brand new and it had play in it because onr of the bearing races had been inserted wonky at the factory
  6. too little spoke tension or dodgy hub bearings?
  7. i understood everything when i did it but spent too much time riding and not enough time remembering all the equations etc then failed with a U at AS learn everything then make sure you get it etched into your brain!
  8. ok, im planning on using a single wall revell front rim with alloy nipples
  9. ok, so im thinking of saving weight/getting my brake set up better, so im thinking of replacing my current revell rear rim with a revell front rim and shrinking my rear tyre down to a 2.35 high roller. would this be any good? i know the front is only single wall, but if im super smooth on it woud it work? my reasoning is: it's lighter and it's narrower so i'll be able to get a better setup on my vee hopefully
  10. the vee mount on the frame might be bent, i did that before and i couldnt get the pad to hit square then. check that!
  11. im currently doing the same for my A2 project, got a rough/ first idea cad model coming up...
  12. why? i dont need a bike anymore... and the link in your sig doesnt work by the way
  13. shaun and andy...you obviously know them...me, the pony tail crew (three guys from ipswich who ride) and a few woodbridge riders. we should all have a massive ipswich ride with everyone from the area?
  14. dunno, she expressed an interest and i thought it might be a good thing to encourage. i ride bmx too which is my escape from her!
  15. i know this is old, but i just remembered this topic and the bike is all done, she's been riding it a few months now and is steadily improving!
  16. its good to see more girls riding, my giflfriend rides too...we should start a thread to see how many female riders we have on the forum!
  17. im from martlesham and i'll come to woodbridge to ride a bit more if anyone organises anything and lets me know more than a couple of hours in advanced!
  18. probably not worth its own topic but i really need an acurate version of the stone cold bush bass part for tomorows band practise as all the internet versions have blatent mistakes! anything apreciated, even if anyone can find a half decent internet version of it! thanks
  19. my sister had open heart surgery and has problems ocasionaly with heart murmers/ skipping beats etc she says it feels like butterflies in her chest instead of her stomach kind of thing. she has to go and have regular check ups to make sure its all under control (which it is, she's incredibly fit and does a lot of excercise/dancing kindof thing) but it can be potentially realy major if you're getting this kindof thing, definitely get it checked!
  20. do that, i ride lots of park and street and even dirt sometimes brakeless! it'll make you loads smoother too!
